WEEK 1 TRIAL
POPULATION: 33
Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.
Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Lust, Pride, Envy and Gluttony patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.
Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.
For a moment, everything looks completely normal, until you notice Envy slumped face-down on the table, bleeding out from a stab wound in the front. Lust is busy putting a pink fluffy towel under their head, Pride is sitting slouched in a chair twirling a knife, and in that moment Gluttony claps their hands together to get everyone's attention.
"If you would please get started. You all have nine fleeting hours to find out what happened, and place your votes."
Hello, and welcome to your second trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.
Good luck, and have fun!
INVESTIGATIONS
TEA ROOM
the tea room seems normal, at first glance!]
no subject
Hopefully no one actually killed in here. I wouldn't want such a cute room to be ruined.
no subject
[ but is there anything on the ground as meg slowly wanders in? footprints or any kind of trail or odd marks? ]
no subject
Smoke, chocolate taste, dancing china, from what I can recall.
[Actually, if Nathan is checking tea and meg is checking the ground, Molly will go over and start poking through the sandwiches and snacks and what not?]
no subject
however, there's something dark on the ground a few feet away from meg, in the wall-to-wall fake grass carpet.]
no subject
Doesn't look like anyone had a tea party during the murder. See anything over there?

MED BAY
Here you are.
no subject
ANYWAY. in the med bay, first thing first, is there anything that is immediately off that is impossible to miss? anything on fire? ]
no subject
[ immediately goes over to snoop ]
no subject
Mineo said there was something off about them, too.
no subject
there is nothing immediately impossible to miss. no fire here. everything looks exceedingly put together, unfortunately.
the pods are fine, not even an open door, or blood, or stains. nothing.
likewise, the beds are pristine. no blood, no mysterious sticky substances.]
no subject
[ anyway
since they actually took stock of what was in here before curfew, if sasazuka goes through the medical items, will he notice anything missing? in different places? ]

KITCHEN
big toblerones? they're everywhere.]
Ah. Another mess.
[they sound fucking tired.]
no subject
[Luckily, Douman doesn't trip over any, but they're shocked enough to just gaze around, wide-eyed, and, with a blunt, harsh tone, say:]
What the FUCK is all of this, then?
[(holt voice) TOBLERONNNNNNEEEEE????]
no subject
[Omi doesn't trip, but he does step on one.
He will pick it up.]
Ain't these the chocolates Kaz liked?
no subject
...Well, perhaps we've figured out where he went after he left his room.
[ she'll step lightly over the chocolates to check out the vending machine that probably spawned them. ]
no subject
the vending machines are fine. there isn't any damage to them. the toblerones probably came out of it, yeah.]
no subject
[They're. Very big for chocolates. But noticing that red liquid, Douman also moves to pick a couple of them from the floor.]
Why would anyone need so many?

no subject
also are there any traces of glitter or anything around? just wondering. ]
no subject
[She slaps him right across the face. No, just kidding, she does not. She just nods at him.
She will just check out. . . anything else that is on the floor.]
no subject
anyway what they find is... a tray of what appears to be the remains of a pizza? it's only the crusts. the rest has been eaten.
there is a note with the tray, and along with it is an abandoned bop-it.]
no subject
[ time to read the note!! the other two can handle the bop-it. ]
