Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

goood morning! come join us in the conference room when you're ready!

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Lust, Pride, Envy and Gluttony patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Victims: Omi Fushimi, Ashiya Douman

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Lust is at the table and seems to be finishing a topcoat on their nails. Pride is looking down at their claws, sprawled in their chair. Envy is slumped forward on the table... but don't worry, he's not dead this time, he just has his head pillowed on his folded arms. Gluttony is sitting up straight, hands laced together and waiting.

The rest of the Avatars all look at Pride after a moment of silence, and then, vaguely annoyed, Pride says:

What? They know they have nine hours by this point. Don't look at me.

Hello, and welcome to fourth third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

And poison that put 'im to sleep [ thinking of the dogs ] woulda been pretty merciful. But if we're thinkin' about motives, it doesn't make much sense.

Gojou-san wouldn't do that to someone who trusted him. He has no reason to. If motives are purely based on who we're choosing of our own free will, and how, then I wouldn't put Gojou-san into considerations at all.

But Omi... had to have known the food was suspicious. He had to have known that he was awake because someone wanted to kill 'im, and he ate it anyway.

Omi's trusting, but not that much.

He could have eaten it before or during curfew, not after midnight.

The only person unaccounted for during curfew is Douman - everyone else has an alibi. But if it was before curfew and took that long to take effect, I suppose it is possible.

... Could we also not possibly consider Douman a culprit?

From what I heard, Douman was avoiding Omi. And... poison doesn't seem to be their... type.

No one but Douman. Everyone else was with someone.

Then it probably happened before curfew. So really, no one's clear.

Do we really not have anything else to tie a suspect to other than 'who would Omi-san share a meal with'? Maybe the type of poison? Who'd clobber someone with a telescope?

I don't know anything about poisons and would rather kill someone with my hands.

Omi is well-liked... And really the only person I felt could have been a danger recently is Douman.

I can give more context on why I think this, but I also don't want to distract anyone from the case. With Aoi and Shi Qingxuan fighting, then Law saying he didn't see any blood on Douman before killing, it might be pointless to go about the ~Love Triangle~.

But if you aren't strong enough to take someone head-on, poison isn't a bad bet.

You would still have to be strong enough or smart enough to find a way to transport his body all the way to the Observation room. He wasn't a small man.

Maybe it was someone he knew could kill him anyway, if he didn't eat it. Maybe it was the least painful option.

I agree. It doesn't make sense, unless there's a motive for killing we're unaware of.
