Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the death of Tartaglia Childe...well, perhaps there isn't any tension at all? Hard to say. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the eighth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
If you aren't too distracted, that is. For the most part, it may feel as though there isn't anything strange about this week. Everything proceeds as normal and life on the base is calm again. But every now and then, you'll feel a burning in your hand right where your tattoo is as it loses its color and fades to black temporarily. A sudden swell courses through your veins, almost as if being injected with a higher amount of your specific indulgence. You'll find it nearly impossible to do anything else until you act on it, draining the indulgence away and bringing color back to your marking. This won't always happen, and this won't always happen at a convenient time. It may be best to plan ahead. After all...if you ignore it for too long, you may find yourself changing. Those aligned with Envy may find themselves with several new eyes. Those aligned with Gluttony may find claws and a tail beginning to grow. Those aligned with Pride may feel a sharp pain in their head as a crown of thorns embeds itself into their skin. But the sooner you act, the sooner these changes will disappear.

But since the satellite is somewhere else completely, the creature has to have a way of getting to and from here. I asked Greed, and they don't know it's teleportation. So there's a chance that there is some type of pathway linking the satellite to the base that's hidden from us. We'd just need to figure out how to find it if it's a thing.

I looked around at the sleep bay earlier. For the most part, it was pretty normal, but when I tried to mess with a TV it started playing videos about Y2K? There was an Apple commercial that featured Hal from A Space Odyssey talking about it, and then a different video that was like a survival video for Y2K. When the TV turned off, I saw the furby in the reflection, and it said it was getting angrier.

I talked to Steven! I have some information. I don't know if you guys already talked about this, but here's what he had to tell me:

They don't know how exactly to do this, but there seems to be a robotics lab down there, and Steven, who is apparently decent at coding and programming, said they're asking for a flash drive, which they might or might not get, so they can send it over if they can get something sorted over there.
Oh, yeah, thanks to Satoru and Qingxuan specifically because you apparently were right about what got glitched in Takeru's letter. [ Medb guesses she can pass that over. ]
Other things missing from the letters was the priority order of fuel for the creature is the dead first, then us, then the Avatars are backup. Also, to disregard the are you hungry? letter because it's probably Vlad being an impotent dick.
He also said... and emphasized... [ She makes an unhappy face. ] That we shouldn't try to fight it. Trying to kill it is the quickest way to anger it and is pretty much getting in the Avatars' way of getting their wishes.

But trying to catch it isn't a bad idea.
He said the draining of the dead gets worse every successive week when new dead arrive.
There also seems to be some meter that gets filled when we indulge? And that when that gets filled, wishes are fulfilled? They don't know where it is, though.
