Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the death of Tartaglia Childe...well, perhaps there isn't any tension at all? Hard to say. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the eighth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

If you aren't too distracted, that is. For the most part, it may feel as though there isn't anything strange about this week. Everything proceeds as normal and life on the base is calm again. But every now and then, you'll feel a burning in your hand right where your tattoo is as it loses its color and fades to black temporarily. A sudden swell courses through your veins, almost as if being injected with a higher amount of your specific indulgence. You'll find it nearly impossible to do anything else until you act on it, draining the indulgence away and bringing color back to your marking. This won't always happen, and this won't always happen at a convenient time. It may be best to plan ahead. After all...if you ignore it for too long, you may find yourself changing. Those aligned with Envy may find themselves with several new eyes. Those aligned with Gluttony may find claws and a tail beginning to grow. Those aligned with Pride may feel a sharp pain in their head as a crown of thorns embeds itself into their skin. But the sooner you act, the sooner these changes will disappear.

[all in all, lust isn't exactly expecting people to come looking for them. but for anyone who does, they will find them camped out in the pc cafe more often than not with a cup of boba and focused on their screen.

when not found there, one can find them lingering on the steps of the outdoor shrine, looking out at the open garden area. and every now and then you can catch them sneaking a peak at the machine curiously before leaving the room alone. should they catch your eye though, they'll give a little wave.

[It's exploration time, so they're bound to run into each other anyway. Sheila gestures at the garden area when she comes across them, trying to get a sense of their mood.]

Right? I really like it here when I just want to sit outside and do nothing. It's weirdly peaceful. Nostalgic, maybe?

What do you find nostalgic about it, anyway? I've never seen a place like this.

I used to come to a shrine like this a lot when I was younger. [so simple reasons.] Sometimes it's just nice to know the option's there to pray to somebody and see if they're listening.

Fair enough. [Nodding, nodding...] I've noticed people who are religious are like, never stressed out? Maybe we should pray more often.

[probe]

It's an option. I'm not sure who's listening, but maybe even just asking for a sign would be a good start. Or if we thank them? Maybe they just want a little gratitude.

If someone up there wants gratitude, I would be super grateful if they dropped us a sign. That's like, totally worthy of at two minutes of prayer. [It's almost like the cake never left...] What do you think they would say if someone was listening?

Hmm...[they put some thought into this.] Probably something about going in the right direction and believing in the path you're on. And to put a nice donation in the prayer box.

It's an LP of a game I haven't gotten to play yet. [it's definitely an lp of some jrpg.] Wanna watch with me? This one's no commentary so you can hear the story better, but I can find something else, too.

Nope, you're right on time! We just started the first interrogation section. [...it's definitely p5. ] This game has been on my list for a while but these kind always take at least a hundred hours to complete everything.

That many? Where do people find the time to play through them?

Over the course of a few weeks probably, but there are some streamers that make this their full time job! They get paid to provide content on their channels and their fans make donations and stuff. My channel's getting bigger, but I've been learning from some of the better streamers, too.

Oh, yeah! [they pause the current video and open up a new web browser tab, typing something in before navigating their channel.]

I haven't uploaded a ton lately, but this one's pretty easy to watch. [and they let her watch! ]

So many. Like. Thousands. People really love cats...but there're dog videos, too. And rabbits? All sorts of stuff.

So what I'm hearing is people are really into watching little movies of animals being cute.
