WEEK 3 TRIAL
POPULATION: 25
Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.
Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Lust, Pride, Envy and Gluttony patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.
Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.
Lust is at the table and seems to be finishing a topcoat on their nails. Pride is looking down at their claws, sprawled in their chair. Envy is slumped forward on the table... but don't worry, he's not dead this time, he just has his head pillowed on his folded arms. Gluttony is sitting up straight, hands laced together and waiting.
The rest of the Avatars all look at Pride after a moment of silence, and then, vaguely annoyed, Pride says:
What? They know they have nine hours by this point. Don't look at me.
Hello, and welcome to fourth third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.
Good luck, and have fun!

So yeah, I think you're probably right, OR it's someone Omi wouldn't fight -- love, or whatever -- so they staged it.

[ aoi didn't even do anything to deserve being called stupid but grace nods to say eleanor has a point ]
I don't think he'd lie down without a fight. I mean, he had pretty bad taste, but he wanted his wish the same as the rest of us.

The dinner setting, and the fact that there's no sign of struggle... that does make me think that this was perpetrated by someone he knew, whether before or after lockdown.

Though to accept a meal made by someone else on a Thursday would mean he was either remarkably foolish, or did trust this person unflinchingly.

Well, we've all been pretty out of whack this week... [ what with sin city ] but yeah, all we know for sure is the staged fight.

Even if it's just - killing him in the kitchen and then dragging him to the observation room, that's heavy. Especially for someone Omi-san's size when his weight's completely on you...

Yeah. So who could cook a meal that Omi-san would eat on a Thursday and be strong enough to haul him somewhere?
[his brow furrows]
Actually, when the hell did they do that? Are you telling me someone dumped his body in the observation room and then went to their curfew spot?
