Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

goood morning! come join us in the conference room when you're ready!

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Lust, Pride, Envy and Gluttony patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Lust is at the table and seems to be finishing a topcoat on their nails. Pride is looking down at their claws, sprawled in their chair. Envy is slumped forward on the table... but don't worry, he's not dead this time, he just has his head pillowed on his folded arms. Gluttony is sitting up straight, hands laced together and waiting.

The rest of the Avatars all look at Pride after a moment of silence, and then, vaguely annoyed, Pride says:

What? They know they have nine hours by this point. Don't look at me.

Hello, and welcome to fourth third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

Possible, it's not hard to make poisons if you have the right plants for it. But I know I and a few others, at least, got items from home last week. Could be something there.

So maybe someone got a means of making poison, or just outright got poison.

I dunno, either they made or it or got it somehow? Would one of the sin gang have given it out if asked? Or maybe we have some secret poison masters. Gu Yun's got "self-poisoning" on his profile, but somehow I doubt that's gonna help much.

I don't believe the Sin Gang would pass out items particularly helpful to murder, unless it was unintentionally. They won't give out weapons and I doubt they'd hand over a vial of poison.

Gu Yun's-- I know my word for it might be shaky at best, but do trust me that it likely doesn't relate to this.

Yeah, that's what I thought. I mean, it could have been unintentional, since TV has taught me you can make poison out of the weirdest shit, but I think it's probably gotta be homebrewed.

I mean, yeah? I figured. But there's no other mention of poison on the profiles, so it's probably some super sneaky poison master.

It does say "self-poisoning", not "poisoning others". Do I really seem the type of person to poison someone, especially while possibly crying on them?

But just FYI, I wasn't accusing you. Just pointing out that no one is super obviously a poison master.

Should we consider whether anyone here is likely to know much about plants or poisons? I'm sure a lot of us had access to a variety of plants, but only a few would know what to do with that.

A good idea. I know that several us spend time in the garden. Is there anything there that would be actually useful for this sort of thing?
