WEEK ZERO: INTRO MINGLE....2

[At around 10 AM sunday morning, there is the sound of a very alarming, earth-shaking crash that comes from the hallway with the elevator.

Should you choose to investigate, you will come across four figures splattered across the ground in front of said elevator, covered in slime and bits of fur.

The first figure to pop up is a figure in a hooded cloak with a crossed swords symbol etched into the side of the hood. They use the rest of the figures on the floor to push themselves up and then immediately let out a blood-curdling shriek as they just… set the elevator on fire.

As the elevator closes over the flames, the smallest figure in a hooded cloak with a ring of hearts symbol rolls off to the side, looking at their slime-coated sleeves with a distressed nya sound. They reach up to wipe bits of slime off of the two bumps at the top of their head, flinging it on the floor before sitting up on their knees.

The third hooded figure rolls up, and then rolls? into the air? to float? The very tip of the white, spiraled horn on the top of their head jutting through the hood is chipped. :( A wilted plant symbol is embroidered on the side of the hood. They clap their hands somewhat excitedly.]

Wow, we, like, didn’t die!

[The tallest figure finally pulls themselves up off the floor with a little groan, having been on the bottom of the pile. They reach up to rub their head, careful of the hood of their cloak, which has an eye symbol embroidered on the side. Their sleeve slips down a little, and a bright green eye opens up on their forearm, swiveling to look around before it closes and blinks out of existence.]

Jeez, did we not have enough property destruction already? Cannot believe you bitches live like this, by the way.

[The elevator is now closed, and the figure with the wrath symbol just sits down on the floor and starts shucking the slime off their sleeves like they’re squeegee-ing it. Their cloak is pulled up a little, which means everybody can see their bare feet, which are on fire. grumbled:]

Wish I were dead.

[The figure with the lust symbol whines slightly as they get to their feet, leaving little time between the moment they stand and the moment they move in the blink of an eye to jump onto the tallest figure’s back, draping themselves over them as they look around. Please ignore the way the back of their cloak quivers just slightly.]

Aw, don’t say that. How were we supposed to know the elevator would get stuck?

Oof- [The tall figure only stumbles slightly, just taking hold of their new barnacle’s legs like this is not the first time it’s happened. They are allowed to feel tall.]

Well, now it’s stuck and on fire, which I personally don’t think is a huge improvement? Can we, uh, move on? Definitely not it.

[In the background, the wrath hood lies on the floor and expires.]

Welcome to, uh--here! We were going to come down earlier to greet you, buuuut someone broke the elevator! We’re here now, though, so… hello!

Oh, um- they just sort of do that, sometimes?

[the eye swivels to watch mahito.]

[He is watching the handeye watch him, like a terrible eyeroboros.]

On their own? You can't control yours?

I can manifest them on purpose too! They just also, um, do it on their own sometimes.

[can't believe he and the hand eye are having a staredown.]

Have you ever accidentally stepped on one of them?

[Why is that his first question.]

[probe]

I- no? Why would it be on the bottom of my foot, anyway? I have shoes.

[why have an eye you can;t see out of, mahito!]

Don't they just go wherever they want sometimes? [He's just imagining roving eyes popping up literally all over the place at any time for any reason.]

[probe]

Within reason-! Jeez, it'd be weird if they just showed up places they can't even see, I don't want like-- a butt eye. That'd just be extra weird.

[touchups]

[A beye......... He just laughs, terribly.]

You're right, it would be! [Someday he's giving someone a butt eye now, just for fun.] Hey, if two eyes open on different sides of your body, would it make you dizzy?

[probe]

It happened once, yeah- it was pretty disorienting? I try to avoid letting that happen.

[touchups]

[It sounds hilarious, honestly, and he looks vaguely amused by the prospect.]

Mm, I'd guess it would be. Hey, how many can show up at once?

[probe]

Probably a lot!

[they shrug, slightly.]

I haven't actually found out?

[touchups]

You should! [He frees this hand so he can clap his hands together, clearly enthused about the idea.] I'd like to see something like that!

[probe]

You would...?

[they pause, seeming to consider this. there's a faint green glow under their hood where their eyes would normally be, though their face is still indistinct.

then eyes open up all over their hands and what's visible of their forearms, as well as little glowy spots popping up all over underneath the fabric of their robe. envy makes a slightly startled noise, and they all wink out at once.]

Ohhhh jeez, okay, did not consider seeing out of all of those at once.

[touchups]

[Honestly neither did Mahito, but that only makes it more entertaining... He laughs because of course he does.]

Ah, was it too much? [THIS ASSHOLE. But beneath the laughter, he sounds fond! Terrible!] I like them, though!

[probe]

Ah, maybe a little much... Do you really, though?

[mahito is now the third person to see that the hand-eyes can shift to have a heart-shaped pupil. terrible.]

[touchups]

[why do these things happen. His opinion should never be valid, but especially not when it comes to multiples of body parts.]

Mmhm! I've never met anyone who can do that. [HE LOVES IT!! Interesting and unexpected things are the best. Also--] They're a good color, too.

[probe]

I think so, too. Green's always been my favorite-- but, you know. Envy, right?

[they're SO pleased about all of this right now. all the eyes are heart eyes.]

-yours are nice, by the way.

[touchups]

[NO NONE OF THE EYES SHOULD BE HEART EYES. He laughs, both at the terrible joke and also terrible for different reasons compliment.]

Well! Good thing for you, then, since it suits. [He cants his head to the side, amused.] But what, you mean my eyes? You're the first to say it.

[probe]

Am I-? They're pretty, though. I'm kind of surprised nobody else has said so.

[envy just thinks they're neat...]

[touchups]

Most people can't see them! And they're usually distracted by other things, I guess.

[Like his... scars! Yeah! That and only that!! Anyway he's reaching for Envy's hands again please stop him. He would just like to hold them.]

I'm glad you like them, though. You're nice!

[probe]

[they allow it! they just like having their hands held.]

People can see here though, right? They should've said so already.

[a slight hum follows.]

I just think you're interesting in general, though.

[touchups]

[And he likes holding hands! Wow, a win for everyone.]

[But oh, to be considered interesting by the weird thing with 500 glowing eyes. The way that his head tips to the side is very much like a curious owl, or perhaps one of those manic scraggly-looking kittens.]

[their head tilts slightly as well, and all their visible eyes watch mahito curiously.]
