WEEK ZERO: INTRO MINGLE....2

[At around 10 AM sunday morning, there is the sound of a very alarming, earth-shaking crash that comes from the hallway with the elevator.

Should you choose to investigate, you will come across four figures splattered across the ground in front of said elevator, covered in slime and bits of fur.

The first figure to pop up is a figure in a hooded cloak with a crossed swords symbol etched into the side of the hood. They use the rest of the figures on the floor to push themselves up and then immediately let out a blood-curdling shriek as they just… set the elevator on fire.

As the elevator closes over the flames, the smallest figure in a hooded cloak with a ring of hearts symbol rolls off to the side, looking at their slime-coated sleeves with a distressed nya sound. They reach up to wipe bits of slime off of the two bumps at the top of their head, flinging it on the floor before sitting up on their knees.

The third hooded figure rolls up, and then rolls? into the air? to float? The very tip of the white, spiraled horn on the top of their head jutting through the hood is chipped. :( A wilted plant symbol is embroidered on the side of the hood. They clap their hands somewhat excitedly.]

Wow, we, like, didn’t die!

[The tallest figure finally pulls themselves up off the floor with a little groan, having been on the bottom of the pile. They reach up to rub their head, careful of the hood of their cloak, which has an eye symbol embroidered on the side. Their sleeve slips down a little, and a bright green eye opens up on their forearm, swiveling to look around before it closes and blinks out of existence.]

Jeez, did we not have enough property destruction already? Cannot believe you bitches live like this, by the way.

[The elevator is now closed, and the figure with the wrath symbol just sits down on the floor and starts shucking the slime off their sleeves like they’re squeegee-ing it. Their cloak is pulled up a little, which means everybody can see their bare feet, which are on fire. grumbled:]

Wish I were dead.

[The figure with the lust symbol whines slightly as they get to their feet, leaving little time between the moment they stand and the moment they move in the blink of an eye to jump onto the tallest figure’s back, draping themselves over them as they look around. Please ignore the way the back of their cloak quivers just slightly.]

Aw, don’t say that. How were we supposed to know the elevator would get stuck?

Oof- [The tall figure only stumbles slightly, just taking hold of their new barnacle’s legs like this is not the first time it’s happened. They are allowed to feel tall.]

Well, now it’s stuck and on fire, which I personally don’t think is a huge improvement? Can we, uh, move on? Definitely not it.

[In the background, the wrath hood lies on the floor and expires.]

Welcome to, uh--here! We were going to come down earlier to greet you, buuuut someone broke the elevator! We’re here now, though, so… hello!

Sometimes seeing out of multiple is a little weird, though.

The eyes are kind of my thing.

[they gesture to the symbol on the back of douman's hand.]

I see, I see. Well, its a nice "thing" to have, I think. You know, I use eyes myself. Not real ones, like yours, but my shikigami all have eyes, too! I paint them myself.

[And that brings an idea to mind.]

Actually...well, it might be difficult to do, but have you ever considered, well, decorating them? As with the eyes in the face...I'm sure some color around them would really accentuate them.

Oh, like- makeup? I never tried, since they move around... um, usually nobody really pays this much attention to them. Or to my face.

[one or two of the hand-eyes have shifted in shape, a little.]

But if you use them too, then I guess we match up in more ways than one, right?

I think you should try it. There's nothing wrong with makeup. Ahaha, but I guess I'm a bit biased myself...

[What with the light green eyeliner and lipstick.]

We do, we do! And I assume, based on the symbol on my hand, that I'm yours, yes?

Ah, I don't know if it'd really look any good on me-? But I've never tried. I don't really know how.

[they sound a little sheepish. they still have not taken their hand back, either.]

But, um, yes! You're aligned with envy, so that should guide the ways you indulge.

[commedia]

[Douman smiles.]

Oh- would you? We can definitely talk later-- you know, um, if you want to.

[one of the hand eyes has a heart-shaped pupil.]

But it benefits you the most. The point's indulging, so doing it in ways that matches your sin helps a lot.

[when they say they'd love to, another one of the hand eyes shifts to become a heart-eye.]

It will, yeah. I'm here to help if you ever don't know how to, but, uh- I feel like that won't be much of a problem for you?

Ahaha. Well, you got that right. [And bending their head down to place a kiss gently on Envy's hand, near the eyes.] Let me know when you want to meet. Its a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Envy.

[Yes, they heard the others asking their name. Its fine. What a name it is, hm.]

[well, after the kiss, all the eyes are heart-eyes! suffer, crystal.]

You can't right now, but that'll probably work.

[they nod! they will also continue to let douman hold their hand, if they want to.]

[commedia]

[Douman will probably be holding Envy's hand for a while. Hate this.]

You know, based on that document I read on the phone...you seem to have your hands full with all the others, huh?

[probe]

Oh, yeah, it's kind of a mess sometimes. I don't really know what Pride's issue with me is and they won't tell me, and I don't think anybody really knows what Wrath and Despair's deal is either? Except that Despair just has problems with, uh, everybody to some extent.

[commedia]

Pride has an issue with you? Just you, no one else?

[Bizarre!]

Do you ever get a break away from them?

Oh, Pride has issues with everybody, but it escalated into trying to stab me? So I think it's worse with me, specifically.

[they exhale a sigh.]

It's not like we have to see each other all the time, but...

I really don't think that would go well for me? Also, I don't want to stab them. I just want to, like... talk, I guess.

Well, they're trying to stab you! That's already going past talking.
