WEEK 5 MINGLE
POPULATION: 22
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and itβs the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the deaths of Eleanor Shellstrop and Misa Amane, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. After all, that previously locked room on the first floor has now opened.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
Actually? You will likely find several things easier this week. Everything you set out to do will be granted care and consideration without a second thought. You'll find yourself being completely thorough in all endeavors, everything given your undivided attention and energy. Regardless of what this is, you will feel the need to give it your all and a sudden drive will seize you to encourage you to carry out tasks this week.
At least you can ensure due diligence is paid before you take action.

[Childe is poking at the koi with his finger.
That's it, that's the prompt. He's just harassing fish.]
ii. the woods
[It's just "bothering nature" time this week, apparently! Childe's out here climbing trees in the rain, because he can. He's still missing his jacket, by the way--apparently it's just gone forever now. Wow.
He waves at whoever, though, even if he's halfway up a tree while he does.]
Hello! Care to join me? [In... tree climbing?? Or he can hop on down and join you in whatever, he's clearly not that busy.]
iii. rec room
[Did you want to watch a movie? Sorry, this TV is OCCUPIED. You're welcome to come join him, if you want to partake in some quality entertainment, though!
By which I mean he's watching Sharknado 5.
Very intently.
Okay.]

I don't even know who Fabio is.
no subject
[So apparently he's just making sure Fabio didn't disappear from this recording of Sharknado 5, or something,]
no subject
Sure. Do you think he escaped since the last time you saw it?
[ he. is he being sarcastic? is he? ]
no subject
I don't think he can, if my understanding of movies is correct. But I admit I haven't watched many.
[HE JUST HAS TO BE THOROUGH AND MAKE SURE.]
no subject
I've seen a few but none more than once, so I don't know. I don't think it can change?
... Maybe?

I'm not sure they can get annoyed, really.

Looks back at the TV.]
Oh, we're watching this again?
no subject
Yes! I want to make sure Fabio's still there.
[hm]

What, like he could have gotten out?
no subject
He can't, right? I think you would've mentioned it if he could. [Thank god I am not playing yams who absolutely would've believed Fabio could escape the movie. STILL, because it is Diligent Week--] But I thought I'd watch it again, just to see if anything changes.
no subject
[Childe? She is still confused, but she nods.]
But I'm glad you, apparently, liked it enough to sit through it twice?
no subject
He laughs, though.]
Well, it's fascinating! And I think I must've missed a lot the first time, so I thought I'd give it another try.
[It's presumably a very chaotic movie so this is? fair logic??? Too much thought applied to Sharknado 5 though]
no subject
[She will join him, glancing at the screen.]
