Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

trial. noon.

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Wrath, Greed, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Victim: Eleanor Shellstrop

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Wrath is sitting on the table, organizing notes and gently sliding them to Greed. Sloth is here with what looks like a dog-shaped neck pillow sticking out of the edges of their hood. The spiraled horn on the top of their head is longer and sharper. Greed is leaning against the table in an attempt to be present, hands tentatively reaching forward to take the papers from Wrath. Despair has taken their usual seat, just vibing here as they quietly observe. Oddly, Sloth, Greed and Wrath are not in their cloaks today. Instead, they are in sweatpants (shorts in Wrath's case) and cozy hoodies in their color with their symbol printed on the front. The hoods are pulled over their heads however. Once everyone has settled, Sloth chimes in.

Everyone has nine hours again! You can do it! Last time, you even did it a little early! Wow!

Hello, and welcome to your fifth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

I'm not sure. Let's think about the potential injuries here. Burns, mostly likely. Other than that, I'm not sure anyone besides Eleanor was injured.

I do think I was used pretty intensely as a distraction - Lenore-san too - so if there's someone who'd be willing to mess with us?

[ she looks at misa for a second before sighing ]

Have we checked heads? If the pot fell on someone's head, it could've bruised or hurt them somewhere we haven't looked.

[ she does not sound entirely convinced ]

Maybe...? Maybe someone has cocktail sauce still in their hair.

Burns, head injuries... anything else that might stand out...?

What - do we just want to check everyone who might be strong enough to lift a dish rack for all their bites?

Push, but. Sure? Maybe? The dog was a lot more likely to breathe fire than bite, though.

I think so too.... [massages his temples] Everyone's got a shitton of bites, so if we want to start looking at that, tell me sooner rather than later.

But as far as burns go, there wasn't anything like that. Scratches, bruises, bites, sure. I can narrow down to combat bruises too - but I also think canine bites look a bit different from love bites.

To be fair, you wouldn't have to lift it if it was upright, correct? Simply tip it over? Might be less of a feat of strength.

If they healed anything, it might be close to fully healed. If I remember Law correctly, the scratches were on his arms still but faded.

No one else had marks on their hands when I was checking either - in terms of scrubbing or being super clean, since we used the tattoo ink trick again. It was just Amane-san.
