WEEK 3 MINGLE
POPULATION: 27
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the deaths of Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino, Vlad Masters and Tamotsu Fukuda, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
And even easier still, your memories have stopped leaking all over the place. Goodness. What an ordeal that was, trying to explain those nasty little parts of you you never wanted to share. But speaking of sharing...sharing your indulgence isn't necessarily a bad thing, is it? After all, your aspect hasn't been a secret to anyone since your arrival. The thing about people, however, is that even though it was simple to assign you to one little sin, there may be multiple that apply to you.
This week, not only will you find yourself compelled to indulge more heavily than usual, those lesser aspects of yours will begin to rear their ugly heads. The desire to repeatedly act on your main, secondary and even your third aspects will take hold this week in new ways you normally wouldn't even consider, encouraging you to share and indulge however you want without consequence.
Who needs inhibitions anyway?

...Help the others, why don't you. But if you must...I will wait.

Alright. I'll be back.

[Douman just turns away, and covers their face with their hands.]
[They let out a noise that almost sounds like a strangled sob.]
no subject
what the fuck
while all of this is happening:]
... Douman?
[what is going ON with everyone]
no subject
But he'll join Sheila after nudging Omi off. ]
We need to get them going to the medbay. [ Because he told Omi he'd do it, since Douman refused, but considering the laughing and whimpering and crying, uh. The clown appears to be a little delicate after that trip. ]
no subject
[She's so? Concerned?]
Any way I can help? And don't say with heavy lifting because, you know.
[gestures at her tiny self vs this 2 meter clown]
no subject
[ And even if he's closer in size to a 2m clown... carting said clown off sounds like
so much ]
no subject
I can hear you, you know.
[Just. Grumpily.]
no subject
You seemed distracted. [ not like, sorry, but yk at least will acknowledge the talk ] Do you need a little longer, Douman, or are you ready to head to the medbay? Omi's gone ahead, but he was worried about you.
no subject
[A bitter sort of laugh.]
No, no, take care of your loved ones. I can wait.
no subject
He still is, if you're going to bring semantics into it. And none of the people here are loved ones, to me, but I'm still interested in your well-being. All four of you.

Douman...

[Just lifting their head. Hm...?]
Is that really you?
no subject
Yes, it's me. [she glances at their face and like. winces a little at the lack of eyes? ...good thing they can't see!] ...how can I help you right now?
no subject
[A low sigh.]
Take me to medbay. I want to be able to see.
no subject
[she reaches out to take their hand, tapping lightly on it before she just grabs it so as to not startle them.]
Let's go.

[Just silence.]
[For a chatty person like them...that's incredibly unlike them.]

Whipped cream? Sure. [A beat.] What is therapy?
