Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the deaths of Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino, Vlad Masters and Tamotsu Fukuda, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

And even easier still, your memories have stopped leaking all over the place. Goodness. What an ordeal that was, trying to explain those nasty little parts of you you never wanted to share. But speaking of sharing...sharing your indulgence isn't necessarily a bad thing, is it? After all, your aspect hasn't been a secret to anyone since your arrival. The thing about people, however, is that even though it was simple to assign you to one little sin, there may be multiple that apply to you.

This week, not only will you find yourself compelled to indulge more heavily than usual, those lesser aspects of yours will begin to rear their ugly heads. The desire to repeatedly act on your main, secondary and even your third aspects will take hold this week in new ways you normally wouldn't even consider, encouraging you to share and indulge however you want without consequence.

[greed isn't one for idle chitchat, so finding them may be a bit of a guessing game.

but, should you look, you'll find them in the library seated at a desk with a stack of books and notes before them. they don't offer a greeting, seemingly continuing to focus on their work and only glancing up once.

otherwise, you can find them at the dog park, walking the trails with a pomeranian trotting along beside them. the dog will bark in greeting, and greed will turn their head to look at you.]

I. Kitchen

[It’s Monday, near noon, and you can find Omi where you normally would. In the kitchen finishing up… well this doesn’t look like lunch. There’s a wide array of mochi and cute buns. The bigger ones are shaped like pandas, and the smaller ones like little pink birds.

Along with that, there are also some nice, soft looking cookies, brownies and fudge.]

The birds are on reserve, but feel free to take anything else.

II. Library

[A bit later on in the day you can find him in the library reading… what looks like some shoujo manga? It’s definitely got that air to it. Just from the cover it looks like the romantic type.

[shi qingxuan is incredibly valid. the dog immediately abandons greed to dash over and practically bowl into her hand, leaning in for pets and licking her. the dog seems way too comfortable around people.]

I'm unsurprised you handle animals well. [it's an idle sort of observation just because sqx is so overly friendly it's alarming sometimes.]

Only for a short time, but it hasn't made much of a difference. [that can be interpreted a few ways, but given that greed's stance is actually fairly relaxed it's probably a suggestion that they love this dog.]

[ if you are around the common room on monday afternoon, one angy (siz voice) greenette is standing with his arms folded across the chest. he seems to have a public service announcement. ]

If anyone has any suggestions on how to make trials run a little more smoothly, I suggest that you make them before Saturday so that we have an idea of how to approach things as a group. I know we all discuss this topic individually with each other, but it doesn't matter if we're not on the same page.

For example... we have phones. Why aren't we using them to report back investigation findings as people look around? We can probably have whoever's out at a location text a few people who'll report it to the rest of us, so we're not wasting all twenty in one mass text.

If anyone else has any other suggestions, feel free to say them. Not everything will work, obviously, but we can at least try to make things less stupid as hell.

Well, I can assure you that most of the dogs here are well-behaved. I trained them myself.

Oh, speaking of the investigations!

[this is a good topic, so sqx is just chiming in.]

Maybe we should pick a place for everyone who wakes up and investigates on Fridays to report back to when they're done. Whenever we find something there that not everyone can see right away, there's... usually something relevant to what happened there, right? So we should all get on the same page about it before Saturday.

We can send people to look in those places first, while the rest of us are talking about what happened in the places where we slept. If the people we send are people who were in those locations with others, then the people who aren't going can report on what they saw and we can get more done.
