Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the deaths of Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino, Vlad Masters and Tamotsu Fukuda, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

And even easier still, your memories have stopped leaking all over the place. Goodness. What an ordeal that was, trying to explain those nasty little parts of you you never wanted to share. But speaking of sharing...sharing your indulgence isn't necessarily a bad thing, is it? After all, your aspect hasn't been a secret to anyone since your arrival. The thing about people, however, is that even though it was simple to assign you to one little sin, there may be multiple that apply to you.

This week, not only will you find yourself compelled to indulge more heavily than usual, those lesser aspects of yours will begin to rear their ugly heads. The desire to repeatedly act on your main, secondary and even your third aspects will take hold this week in new ways you normally wouldn't even consider, encouraging you to share and indulge however you want without consequence.

Ah. [give them a moment and they reach into their cloak to pull out an entire bag of dog treats.] Do be careful not to lose your fingers.

[it's...not quite a joke, but they do offer the bag to her as the speedy dog and pomeranian both immediately turn to look at sqx with pleading eyes.]

[she takes two treats from the bag, and then puts one in each of her palms! each dog gets an offering of a treat. good boys. girls. pups of indeterminate gender.]

[the dogs immediately approach and both of them politely take their treats! greed is still holding the bag though.]

Have you visited the other rooms on this floor as well?

[WHAT GOOD DOGS. she didn't lose any fingers at all?! awwwww... they're both getting more pets now.]

Aaah... not yet. I probably should once we're done here.

[they love sqx solely for indulging them, it's fine. greed considers this for a moment before there's a nod.]

They've been trained to behave outside of this room as well, should you wish to take them for a walk through the base. They'll return on their own time when they feel like it.

[aaaa, she's going to make friends with one of these dogs and just have a cute animal companion. emotional support puppy.]

...ahaha, if they feel like tagging along when I leave here, I certainly wouldn't turn them away.

Just try to make sure they don't bark in the library. And do take care not to let them too close to Gluttony's cats.

Mm, I'll keep that in mind!

[she smiles, looking absolutely delighted. doggos...]

Mm. [that's close to "of course" and greed isn't entirely sure how to keep the conversation going, so they let the dogs do the talking. and by talking i mean both of them are going to try to knock sqx over to cuddle in gratitude.]

[she's just cuddling these dogs now. what a great day!]

[very happy for SQX. greed apparently is, too, because they're going to let her cuddle with the dogs while they wander off to settle on a nearby bench and keep an eye on them while pulling out a ledger of notes to work on. enjoy your doggy cuddles.]

[oh she absolutely will, thank you. it was a tough weekend; this is a good way to recharge after it.

[it might be surprising to her but yeah, greed is in exactly the same spot and seems to be marking something up on the papers in their hands, occasionally glancing up to monitor the dogs including the pomeranian. but since sqx is with pups, they don't disturb her and don't mind being undisturbed.]

[her mood seems much improved after hanging with the pups.

...case files. Just because the trials have been completed doesn't mean they're over quite yet.

[shiftingwinds]

[oh. she sits up a little straighter at that.]

...I don't suppose I could see them? Just for a moment? Maybe I could help!

I'm afraid that's out of the question, Miss Shi Qingxuan. They're riddled with sensitive information. And besides, I don't need help.

[is this pride talking or is this just their natural state of being? who knows.]

[she laughs]

Well, it was worth a try! [smiling, though, she gives the dogs some more pets] ...if you ever do need help with anything, though, just tell me! Even if it's "hey, tell the others to behave, they're breaking too much stuff again"! I'll yell at them for you.

...while I appreciate the offer, don't you have plenty of other things to be doing here? [it's not even really a rude dismissal, it's just a question.]

You all said that while we're here, we should be doing what we want to do. And I want to help as many people as I can, while I still can! ...that includes you.

I'm sure there are other Avatars who could use your help more than I can. Or even the participants.
