WEEK 3 MINGLE
POPULATION: 27
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and itβs the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the deaths of Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino, Vlad Masters and Tamotsu Fukuda, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
And even easier still, your memories have stopped leaking all over the place. Goodness. What an ordeal that was, trying to explain those nasty little parts of you you never wanted to share. But speaking of sharing...sharing your indulgence isn't necessarily a bad thing, is it? After all, your aspect hasn't been a secret to anyone since your arrival. The thing about people, however, is that even though it was simple to assign you to one little sin, there may be multiple that apply to you.
This week, not only will you find yourself compelled to indulge more heavily than usual, those lesser aspects of yours will begin to rear their ugly heads. The desire to repeatedly act on your main, secondary and even your third aspects will take hold this week in new ways you normally wouldn't even consider, encouraging you to share and indulge however you want without consequence.
Who needs inhibitions anyway?

Exploding armor...?
no subject
[ lu...luckily... ] You're not overheating, too, are you?
no subject
Can you tell Aoi more about your exploding armor? It must have really good stats.
no subject
...Ah, sure. There are two types, Light Armor and Heavy Armor - I wear the former. It's powered by something called ziliujin and steam and made of iron. They can travel ten times the rate of a normal human's walking speed - the overheating part comes from that, or from any of the propulsion powered weaponry. It needs time to cool off between uses, or else it'll cook you alive like a pork roast. Sometimes, they feature wings and flight mechanics, as well.

Gelatin and steam and iron...?
That's a funny thing to make a mecha out of.
no subject
Zi-liu-jin. You're not the first person to make that mistake! [ MY JELLO SHOTS, ] Someone else told me it's something like oil?
no subject
[ she repeats it to make sure she has it. then: ]
How big is your mecha? Is it powered by souls? Can it go to space?
[ really, uh. leaping to some conclusions, here. ]
no subject
No, not souls, just ziliujin and manpower. Definitely cannot go to space - I don't think? There's likely not enough ziliujin in my entire world to send an iron armor to space, though that would be incredible. I'd like to be the first!
[ sounds like shen yi's thing, space iron armors...
anyway. ] And for size. Let's see. The Light Armor is supposed to be as close to you as possible, so it's my size... and a Heavy Armor is about two Aoi's tall, and maybe two Gu Yun's wide. [ gesturing with his hands! it's a big boy. ] I prefer something faster, though, so I don't use them often.
no subject
Oh. So it's more like sentai or tokusatsu than mecha.
no subject
Sure.

[ and then, with a grin, like he's telling a secret - ] Although, my Black Iron Camp is the best by far, so, our enemies are no competition.
no subject
[ she sounds very sincerely impressed! ]
Are you a good fighter? A good strategist?
no subject
Both. My title's that of the Marquis of Order - so it is my duty to keep order in Great Liang.

and then after a pause: ]
Have you ever seen someone's armor explode?
no subject
...I have, yes. Both of enemies and allies.
no subject
... Doesn't sound fun...
no subject
Well, the enemy one is. [ kaboom ]
no subject
Can you show Aoi some moves?
no subject
Shall we go to the Simulation Room? Best to see it in action, I think.
no subject
[ she? doesn't look like she knows what to do with his arm. ]
no subject
he. reaches down to take her hand? and then puts it on the inside of his arm. ]
...Are there really not any gentlemen in your life? Come on. [ and will gently pat her hand after and give her a nice proper escort ]
no subject
There are always lots of gentlemen in Aoi's life.
