Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the deaths of Tamaki Suoh and Beauregard, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Or maybe you don't care and this is life as usual. That's fine, too. With everything in working order once again, the elevator reveals that it may now visit the second floor. Perhaps it’s worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

But...while adjusting to life here may be easier to handle, you may find other things which used to come easy have been tempered this week. Are you well-known for your swordfighting skills? Suddenly you'll find you can barely hold a blade. Do you pride yourself on your sociable personality? A crippling shyness may overwhelm you, making it difficult to speak to people at all. As the week goes on, it becomes clear that the special trait or skill you've invested so much time and energy in is no longer something that comes easily to you.

Looks like it's back to the basics.

[But that's a very interesting look on Grell - they pause, staring down at her with interest.]

Mmm. Why are you looking away? You certainly weren't during the trial.

I wasn't, and it didn't get me very far. Maybe the men here prefer a more demure sort of woman. [Not her usual strategy but it's what's happening this week because apparently she just can't be her normal outgoing self!!!!

Look if she dies of thirst she will haunt you all in the bounce house of your execution.]

[Oh, they can't help but smirk at that.]

Oh, I certainly don't prefer that.

And yet, no one has committed any crimes of outrage against my person.

Outrage against you? Surely you don't want me to attack you as some devious woman who's come here to stir up trouble?

[brightred]

Oh... [And she's blushing now, suddenly, and looking away.]

Would you really do something that terrible?

I don't know. One may think you want me to do something that terrible.

It would be... [She fans herself a little with a hand, it must be hot in this room or something.] quite inappropriate.

[They put the top hat down.]

Should I approach you...well, "inappropriately"?

If you were to do so, I wouldn't be able to resist. I'm sure you're so much stronger than me, you could do anything you wanted to.

[commedia]

Ahahaha.

[A low laugh. Douman starts to move down from the podium, towards Grell.]

But didn't you say that everyone is only interesting in demure girls? Mmm. I would want to see if someone like you would fight back.

[brightred]

[Oh, she is blushing right now, taking a step back as he steps towards her. She turns her head away, but her eyes dart back up to his face.]

Well, I don't know what I might do, if I were to find myself in that sort of... predicament. Would I call for help? Would I fight back?

[commedia]

Maybe you should, if I had less than savoury intentions.

[They will reach down to take her by the hand, kissing her on the inside of her wrist.]

There would be no one here to come save you, after all.

[brightred]

[She lets him take her hand, lets him press a kiss to the sliver of skin exposed between the top of her glove and the cuffs of her sleeves. She shivers, and pulls her arm away. Not enough to actually pull out of any grip he puts on her, if he has any intention to hold.]

I'm sure... someone would come, before too long.

[commedia]

[His grip certainly tightens around her wrist - the priest's smile widens as they lean in.]

How long is too long, though? Perhaps they won't be able to stop it. After all, someone like me may not be patient.

[brightred]

[Another ineffective tug, and she leans slightly back, looking away. She's a little out of breath when she speaks.]

And there are so many-- many things... that could happen. To someone like me, if someone like you is impatient.

[commedia]

Mmmm.

[And a dip - they place a searing kiss right against her neck, breath hot as they whisper.]

Be careful. Maybe someone like me will steal you away towards...somewhere more comfortable.
