Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the deaths of Tamaki Suoh and Beauregard, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Or maybe you don't care and this is life as usual. That's fine, too. With everything in working order once again, the elevator reveals that it may now visit the second floor. Perhaps it’s worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

But...while adjusting to life here may be easier to handle, you may find other things which used to come easy have been tempered this week. Are you well-known for your swordfighting skills? Suddenly you'll find you can barely hold a blade. Do you pride yourself on your sociable personality? A crippling shyness may overwhelm you, making it difficult to speak to people at all. As the week goes on, it becomes clear that the special trait or skill you've invested so much time and energy in is no longer something that comes easily to you.

Looks like it's back to the basics.

[they begin to gather the hot water to pour into a cup.]

It is a light black tea with a floral and somewhat smoky aroma. It tastes malty, and a bit like bitter chocolate.

[She's never had bitter chocolate before, because she's the absolute opposite of gluttony, but she nods.]

I think that will be acceptable. I haven't tried many teas. I find many too strong for my tastes.

Many teas do have a strong taste; however, there are also many light ones which you may find more pleasing to try.

[they steep the keemun in the infuser in the cup for harrow. it does, in fact, smell floral and smoky. smells kind of like... orchids, maybe?]

You may try this first as it is; if it is not to your taste, sugar or even milk may be added to alter how it is accepted by the palate.

It's a little overwhelming, but not unpleasant. [. . .] You've provided so much variety, even if you aren't indulging yourself. Do you enjoy providing for others?

[harrow very much seemed goth and lesbian enough to enjoy a floral and chocolatey bitter tea. they offer her a small bow at the shoulders as if to say she's welcome.]

Providing for others is a job I am accustomed to doing.

Sometimes I wonder about you Avatars. It doesn't strike me as particularly gluttonous to provide for others.

Perhaps there is a certain part of me to why I am aligned with gluttony.

Oh? Do you care to share? It is a little distasteful to go about asking others why they are aligned with certain sins.

It is. You could say my tastes are rather... niche.

[That's. Ominous. Anyway, keep your secrets, Gluttony. But she's a little more concerned this tea is feeding into some kind of kink. Just kidding, she's not worried about that, just me.]

. . . Am I to understand that this floor is - how should I put it? Themed for you? Despair appeared partial to last week's new areas.

[they place the cup of tea down in front of harrow after removing the infuser, turning it just so. as it should be.

she can try it if she'd like. it's really good, if she cares for the taste. no poison. cross their heart.]

I am rather partial to this floor. Then again, I also enjoyed the last one despite not being so public about my appearance.

Did you? Even the. . . room full of clone tubes?

Ah. I will admit I do not care for clones exactly--messy work having a duplicate--but I was intrigued by the room itself.
