Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

After the events of the day before and the meet and greet provided by four new Avatars, you may find yourself wondering how you can get in touch with them again. Fear not. One look at your handy dandy cell phone will reveal eight new contacts added to your directory. Feel free to shoot them a message. You may be surprised.

But before you get too far, perhaps it’s worth checking out the base once more. Those locked rooms from the days before have been unlocked, free for exploration. In addition, should occupants visit the central elevator they will find the elevator in working order (and flame-free) and that a new floor has opened. Take a look, familiarize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. Life on the base is a happy place.

And speaking of happiness…it’s funny. For the rest of the week, all who reside on the base will be inflicted with little feelings of hope and happiness, a belief that they can manifest almost anything. This week, all will discover that any mundane thing they hope for will be at their disposal...though do be careful. Those small wishes may come to fruition in ways you don't expect. For example, wishing for a year's supply of sushi may net you one astronomically large sushi roll. An eyeshadow palette may provide you with samples of actual colored eyelids. And a punching bag could be mistaken for a bag full of confetti instead.

Progressive. But even if people try to cling to their old ways, the world's not going to stop and wait for them to catch up.

It's all fun and games and conservative ignorance until the ones they neglected start to bite back, don't you think?

But I've never been one much to be happy being ordered around by authority figures I don't care for.

If it's for the sake of a wanted end, I'd say I'm pretty flexible. [ He really will do whatever it takes... sometimes. ]

I take it that you're the openly rebellious sort -- if you don't like something, I'm sure you'd make it clear right away.

[ He laughs!! That's good to here. Steven has his head screwed on right. ]

I follow the rules for the most part, but I do what I think is best for my students.

[ Which means he will twist and go against orders for them. ]

Oh, students? [ HUH. Wait a minute, so YOU'RE a teacher. Wow you are a weird one. ]

[ Well, you know, personality, and then your whole entire get-up that suggests cosplayer (I ALMOST WROTE COPSLAYER??), or weird workout coach, or... some other list of random, decidedly non-teaching jobs. ]

Based on your attire, I'd thought some kind of athletic hobbyist, or something. Though I don't know what to make of the blindfold.

The private school I work for is so strict that faculty have a uniform.

[ He isn't going to detail why the blindfold. It exists. Deal with it. ]

It is comfy, though.

This is your uniform?

[ He looks Gojou up and down, head to toe. If he's judgmental about it, you can't tell at all. ]

It does look comfy, I'll give you that. Private school, though. Nice, I guess.

Yeah. The buttons on my uniform is kind of like ID showing you belong to the society.

[ Even if, in my honest ooc opinion, the outfits look funny. ]

The campus is really nice! It's in the Tokyo suburbs near the mountains.

The suburbs -- I'm a little surprised, I'd imagine most places are raring to place their schools in the heart of the city. It sounds nice, though -- I'd like to get a break from the city every now and then.

What do you mean by "society"? I'd thought this was a school.

[ And what does that usually mean? Kids from rich families—high society. ]

...You don't look [ or act like ] like any private school teacher that the kind of high society people I know would accept. Nor, no offense, do you yourself come off that way.

What subject do you teach? General? ...Sports?

[ Since most people with children have their children attend normal people schools. ]

I don’t need to act a certain way as long as I’m born into a noble family. They can’t ignore my skill, either.

[ Does rich pretty boy fit the image? There are more respectable faculty than him for sure. ]

True enough, I suppose I can't deny that. [ Plenty of rich-born kids want to rebel against the image of their lineage, he's sure. Steven's wheelhouse is less nobles and more just rich socialites though, so what does he know. ]

I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with "jujutsu". [ He didn't mishear jiujitsu, did he... ]

[ Actually, he should be hiding this to people, but he might as well play around with it. Not like Steven is going to believe him, right? ]

Oh, I see. So you have powers in the more magical realm of things. I feel like this make more sense now. [ SIKE. Yeah he 100% takes your word for it. ]

Sorcerers, magic, the supernatural -- they're not very uncommon where I come from. At least, not anymore. A person with sorcery wouldn't be that odd, and actually explains your attire and attitude better. [ Because they're both odd. ]
