Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

After the events of the day before and the meet and greet provided by four new Avatars, you may find yourself wondering how you can get in touch with them again. Fear not. One look at your handy dandy cell phone will reveal eight new contacts added to your directory. Feel free to shoot them a message. You may be surprised.

But before you get too far, perhaps it’s worth checking out the base once more. Those locked rooms from the days before have been unlocked, free for exploration. In addition, should occupants visit the central elevator they will find the elevator in working order (and flame-free) and that a new floor has opened. Take a look, familiarize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. Life on the base is a happy place.

And speaking of happiness…it’s funny. For the rest of the week, all who reside on the base will be inflicted with little feelings of hope and happiness, a belief that they can manifest almost anything. This week, all will discover that any mundane thing they hope for will be at their disposal...though do be careful. Those small wishes may come to fruition in ways you don't expect. For example, wishing for a year's supply of sushi may net you one astronomically large sushi roll. An eyeshadow palette may provide you with samples of actual colored eyelids. And a punching bag could be mistaken for a bag full of confetti instead.

[WELL, HE STOPS WHEN THEIR BOAT STARTS FILLING WITH ANGRY FISH. Mahito scoops one up in his hands!! He's both curious and also trying to help his boatrades, since he plans on just pitching it overboard.

But then it bites him with its little needle demon teeth, fuckin rude.]

Haha... [DON'T JUST LAUGH ABOUT IT.] This isn't normal?

[He. He sounds unsure, as if he isn't 100% certain that swan boat rides don't come with toothy fish and heart attacks.]

[She looks towards this influx of fish which means she isn’t looking behind them anymore - and she blinks when the pain in her chest stops.

Anyways, she’s standing up so she can just. Kick them away as they come. Surely nothing will go wrong with this plan? Until one latches onto her ankle and she gives a tiny shriek of anger.]

he is trying to sidestep all of these fish, and also to look overboard to try to see if they are? going through a nest or something what the fuck.

but he looks behind them as he's searching, and now sasazuka is the one slumping over while clutching his chest. ]

[Nevermind they don't actually have a braincell. He shakes the cliranha off his hand and attempts to whack Endorsi's anklefish onto the boat floor, then glances over toward Sasazuka.]

You too now? [REACHING OUT TO HELPFULLY WHAP HIS BACK. For like, .2 seconds, because over Sasazuka's shoulder he spies...a shiny rock, just sitting off to the side of this hell water. And is suddenly possessed by the very visceral urge to get that rock.]

Oh—! Wait a second--

[CLIMBING OVER THE BOAT AND ALL THESE FISH he's probably stepping on a bunch of them oh my god. Fish blood and guts everywhere.]

[The anklefish is now on the floor. So is Sasazuka, maybe. This is truly hell. When she sees Mahito hopping over the side:]

[There he go....... She tosses another fish which happens to go in his direction.]

[ softly, with feeling, ]

[ he is going to try to get back to his feet, looking over at manito-- huh, he's no longer in pain anymore? ]

[DON'T JUST THROW FISH. It hits the back of his head and bounces off like a pingpong ball, but he doesn't seem to care...

Instead, he's pointing insistently over toward the rock while climbing over the side of the boat. This is now the Enigma of Amigara Fault.]

[Someone else come stare at the rock and get ensnared in its demon grip.]

[...She sees the rock and also starts climbing out of the boat.]

gets smacked in the face by a fish it's fine ]

Also nothing's stopping him from diving into the water so that's what he does GOODBYE. THESE FISH ARE BITING THE SHIT OUT OF HIM BUT IT'S FINE he punches a few and seems undeterred. A few more might be flying into the boat in their losing battle against Mahito... FISH TORNADO.]

[Good Sasazuka and attack fish. Or, rather, hello attack fish! Because there are so many of them here in the water. This was a horrible decision but also, the rock continues to beckon. She'll be back soon, maybe.]

[ meanwhile, sasazuka just. lets them do that because he is going to sit back down on this boat, within the chaos of these fishes flopping all over it, as he tries very hard to figure out why he is fucking here.

he hopes you both drown. ]

[As if Sasazuka would be so lucky!!

Anyway he grabs hold of the rock and immediately turns in the water to face Endorsi, waving it.]

I got it! Here—! [CATCH. Also there's a fish just hanging off his arm which might fly her way too.]

[She catches it! And then slams it against the fish's head. They both deserve to drown.]

[ meanwhile, the boat floats on

but now sasazuka has spotted the rock when mahito threw it?? and he stands up. ]

Hurry up and bring it over!

[ not them. just the rock. ]

[Fortunately this isn't going to turn into a smeagle situation (probably) because Mahito just wants the rock in the boat in general. OVER HE SWIMS splish splash... There are so many dead fish floating in this water now.]

You know, without the fish, it wouldn't be so bad!

[HUP beware of rocking boat as he pulls himself back on board, bringing a bunch of angry fish with him.]

[Climbing in with the rock! Her precious-- no. Anyways, now that she's back in the boat, she's just going to start smacking off all the fish that hitched a ride. Some of them might land on the boat's floor again. This is fine.]

But as it is, it's pretty annoying, right?

I'm not sure what any of this has to do with why we're here.

[ he has? so many questions? why the fish? is suzaku here somewhere.

but once the rock is safely on the boat, he'll go back to kick fish away. ]

Yeah, those teeth hurt a lot for being so tiny. [A HUFF. He still does not actually seem that fussed, though... Smacking a few more off. They flop away sadly across the deck...]

Maybe we're supposed to collect the rocks? Or the fish?

[He reaches over to pick two more up, holding them in his hands in a way so they can't bite him... And then turns around to chuck them into the water,

WHICH MEANS HE LOOKS BEHIND THEM AGAIN

HAS ANOTHER HEART ATTACK

SLIPS ON A FISH AND FALLS OVER THE SIDE OF THE BOAT BYE.]

[Oh.

She looks over to see what happened - and then makes a face as her heart immediately protests. She looks away quickly to make it stop.

[ but that doesn't really explain what gathering fish or rocks have to do with?? indulgences??? ]

I guess we can keep an eye out for another rock and see if the same thing happens.

Unfortunately no one is that lucky though, so after a few seconds his demon hands come popping back out of the water to grab the side of the boat as he hauls himself over AGAIN, coughing and sputtering. He will just lay on these dead boat fish as he recovers from heart attack...2!]

Ah, that's really annoying...
