Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

After the events of the day before and the meet and greet provided by four new Avatars, you may find yourself wondering how you can get in touch with them again. Fear not. One look at your handy dandy cell phone will reveal eight new contacts added to your directory. Feel free to shoot them a message. You may be surprised.

But before you get too far, perhaps it’s worth checking out the base once more. Those locked rooms from the days before have been unlocked, free for exploration. In addition, should occupants visit the central elevator they will find the elevator in working order (and flame-free) and that a new floor has opened. Take a look, familiarize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. Life on the base is a happy place.

And speaking of happiness…it’s funny. For the rest of the week, all who reside on the base will be inflicted with little feelings of hope and happiness, a belief that they can manifest almost anything. This week, all will discover that any mundane thing they hope for will be at their disposal...though do be careful. Those small wishes may come to fruition in ways you don't expect. For example, wishing for a year's supply of sushi may net you one astronomically large sushi roll. An eyeshadow palette may provide you with samples of actual colored eyelids. And a punching bag could be mistaken for a bag full of confetti instead.

If it was just an atmospheric trip, I don't think there would be leeches.

[One is also attached to Omi's hand. It's dark enough it's hard to tell where they're coming from.]

Yes, I hardly think leeches are typically conducive to-- comfortable intimacy--

What kind of thoughts bring leeches in...?

[ Primrose obediently stills, giving the leech on her leg one hell of a distasteful stare. Sir... please stop making leeches sound... like that... ]

You don't appear to be troubled by them at all.

Believe me, creatures that feed on blood are hardly anything to be worried about, especially miniscule beings such as these who barely can consume all that much. They simply want to have their little feasts...their taste of blood.

[douman please don't sympathize with the leeches.]

[Either way, they slip a fingernail sideways, dislodging the leech, and then flicking it off! There! Time to go to Omi to help with his. There is a leech on the side of their neck? Its fine.]

[Part of him wants to ask about all that, but somehow it seems rude. For now, best to keep it to himself.]

[ She also has questions but why would she ask them, that's silly.

Instead, to return the favor and because her nails are also longer than Omi's (not nothing compared to his roommate's), she's moving forward to practice what she just learned to slip and slide that leech off Douman's neck. ]

I do hope the entire ride won't be like this.

[And removing the leach from Omi's hand! There you go. Douman smiles at their handiwork, smiling, and-]

[Well, she made good work of that leech. Doman murmurs, moving to rub at the area of their neck.]

I'm sure if the leeches are all there is, we should be fine! We should be...hm.

[ At a glance... yeah, they're both right, that doesn't look anywhere near wide enough. ]

That or we'd have to sacrifice part of the boat... I doubt any of us minds getting a bit wet in this excursion?

Can the boat be cut, though? It seems...quite sturdy.

We won't get any further if we don't. [Time to make friends? He can lose a little blood, it's fine.] The water's shallow, so it should be okay.

Unfortunately no. I'd no idea that sharp objects would be involved in their summons.

Alas. Save for my nails, I am quite ill equipped for such things.

[They are NOT going to rip off part of a boat...unless.............?]

Though if there was something loose, perhaps, I could attempt it?

You'd need a saw for wood like this.

[No ripping the boat, clown!

Omi steps out of the boat and politely waits for his companions to do the same.]

If there was a loose enough... [ No, guys.

Primrose finally sighs and then steps off the boat into the probably leech-infested water. Ew. ]

You know best, Omi! Yes!

[And time to jingle on over into the water! Douman is wearing like three layers of robes here, save for the exposed abs, so this is. Rather uncomfortable.]

Mmmmm! Shall we do this quickly? Let's do it quickly! I suppose we shall try to overturn the boat?

[housewolf]

[Full length pants mean he's mostly protected from leeches. They could still get in if they're dedicated enough.]

Just on it's side. If we flip it all the way over, we'll have the same width problem.

[He'll make his way to one end of the boat.]

[ Yeah whatever, she'll be the poor soul with the mostly bare legs because she's a dancer, SHE MADE THIS LIFE CHOICE ]

[ As she splashes her way over to join Omi to begin heaving the boat onto one side. ]

[Well, this is great! Wonderful bonding in Leechville. Douman actually shoves themselves in between the other two, just because they can (and also to be closer to Omi <3).]

[Its good to have a big 6'7" beekcafe of a horrible clown, because with their added strength, it won't take much to turn this boat around.]

[Also a leech is now on their nose, probably having fallen from the ceiling. Its. Fine. It's fine.]

[Thanks, cloommate! If they're all buff for their size, it's not hard to get the boat through the narrow corridor. Sure, it scrapes against the sides, but nobody said it had to get through undamaged.

His hands are once again bitten by leeches. That'll just have to wait!]

[ Let's not talk about where the leeches are or not. Primrose certainly has felt their slimy touch more than once and she is absolutely going to ditch the both of them for a long hot bath after this.

So the cloommates can also bond or something, because Douman sure went in for it. Valid. She respects you, giant clown beefcake.

Just as much as she respects being through that corridor so they can right the boat again, because the look on her face all but screams Unhappy. ]

[And wow, more leeches on the abs! Wonderful. Terrible. More terrible than wonderful, anyways. But obviously its time to just move behind the boat.]
