Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and it’s the start of a new week!

After the events of the day before and the meet and greet provided by four new Avatars, you may find yourself wondering how you can get in touch with them again. Fear not. One look at your handy dandy cell phone will reveal eight new contacts added to your directory. Feel free to shoot them a message. You may be surprised.

But before you get too far, perhaps it’s worth checking out the base once more. Those locked rooms from the days before have been unlocked, free for exploration. In addition, should occupants visit the central elevator they will find the elevator in working order (and flame-free) and that a new floor has opened. Take a look, familiarize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. Life on the base is a happy place.

And speaking of happiness…it’s funny. For the rest of the week, all who reside on the base will be inflicted with little feelings of hope and happiness, a belief that they can manifest almost anything. This week, all will discover that any mundane thing they hope for will be at their disposal...though do be careful. Those small wishes may come to fruition in ways you don't expect. For example, wishing for a year's supply of sushi may net you one astronomically large sushi roll. An eyeshadow palette may provide you with samples of actual colored eyelids. And a punching bag could be mistaken for a bag full of confetti instead.

[ wow i sure wish that law cared about the bolder because he's too focused on the music which is somehow even more terrible. ]

If you want to figure out how to get coal into fire so that this stupid boat can keep moving then help yourself.

[Anyway, he's going to try and see if he can shovel coal into the engine with his eyes closed? That way he won't technically look back? Maybe a third of it is going in, the rest is scattered across the floor of the boat.]

Miners shovel coal, so we're temporary miners. [ Take a joooooke, Law. ] You're missing some of them, Piercings.

[ But no worries. Gojou will take care of that and nudge the wayward coals into the engine. The bass really does drop, booming in this love tunnel. It even echoes which is horrible. ]

It isn't too hard to shovel while facing the side or keeping your eyes low, but the problem for me is that I'm not sure how much fuel we need periodically to stay ahead of the boulder chasing us.

[ They are already inconvenienced by having to face away. He couldn't get a good look at the boulder's speed (NO LOOKING BACK). ]

[ because for comedic value, while he was aware of the existence of the boulder, he hadn't quite realized it was....there. music deafening, bitching about the literally everything else aside from being aware of the danger. ]

[Fukuda would be exactly as useless as he is right now because he is not an overpowered shonen manga character like you two clowns.

He is trying a new technique where he scoops up a bunch of coal and just blinks really fast to maybe look less back. It's dumb and does not work but at least all the coal gets into the engine this time.]

[ do not hug your doctor. we do not have time for that; though i'm deeply appreciative that both fukuda and gojou are contributing to the coal burning portion of the "making the boat move forward" part while law is here complaining. mostly. he's helping in the fact that he's (now) seeing how their pace is compared to their boulder buddy.

fortunately, it's a good solid pace they got going for them. (music is still bad and awful, thanks.) they have not become pancakes yet? or maybe that's unfortunately, who's to say.

[Fukuda does not pick up on context clues so he does not know what Gojou is expecting of him, but he's been thinking about archetypes a lot lately and he is thinking maybe Law is a tsundere?]
