WEEK 0 MINGLE
POPULATION: 37
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base and itβs the start of a new week!
After the events of the day before and the meet and greet provided by four new Avatars, you may find yourself wondering how you can get in touch with them again. Fear not. One look at your handy dandy cell phone will reveal eight new contacts added to your directory. Feel free to shoot them a message. You may be surprised.
But before you get too far, perhaps itβs worth checking out the base once more. Those locked rooms from the days before have been unlocked, free for exploration. In addition, should occupants visit the central elevator they will find the elevator in working order (and flame-free) and that a new floor has opened. Take a look, familiarize yourself, and make yourself comfortable. Life on the base is a happy place.
And speaking of happinessβ¦itβs funny. For the rest of the week, all who reside on the base will be inflicted with little feelings of hope and happiness, a belief that they can manifest almost anything. This week, all will discover that any mundane thing they hope for will be at their disposal...though do be careful. Those small wishes may come to fruition in ways you don't expect. For example, wishing for a year's supply of sushi may net you one astronomically large sushi roll. An eyeshadow palette may provide you with samples of actual colored eyelids. And a punching bag could be mistaken for a bag full of confetti instead.
May all your hopes and dreams come true, everyone.

It's called "try not to laugh". We'll take turns saying or doing something silly, and whoever laughs has to drink.
[of course, the further into the game you go, the more likely you are to laugh because you'll be drunk, and then the more you'll have to drink...]

bar chaos
Which is to say, Mahito knows no fear of man or god and also loves games, so he's about to make the worst decision of his life, probably. OVER HE SCOOTS, immediately claiming a bar seat for himself if only so he can drape himself over the counter like a lazy sock.]
Sure! How d'you play?
no subject
Let's see... we'll take turns. One of us will pick a word, and then the other will tell a story involving that word - and the person who picked the word has to guess if it's true or false. If the person guessing is right, the person who told the story has to drink. If they're wrong, they have to drink.
no subject
Can't believe he's gonna fuckin die of alcohol poisoning week 0 over a game of storyteller, though. He seems interested enough in the idea of it, at least, and nods in agreement.]
Alright! Seems easy enough. What will we be drinking this time?

Let's see... all right, let's play "let's go camping". One of us will pick a place, but they won't tell the other what it is. The other will guess things that they'd want to bring along there. If it fits with the place, they're correct. If it doesn't, they're wrong, and they have to drink. We'll swap when the person who's guessing figures out what the place is.
Oh, and if you think you've figured out the place but you've guessed wrong, you have to finish your entire drink!
no subject
Got it. Do you want to think of the place, or think of the supplies?

What kind of game?
no subject
[sqx is filling up two glasses as she speaks.]
We'll take turns saying two things about ourselves that are true, and one that's a lie. The other person has to guess which isn't true. If they're right, the person who lied drinks. If they're wrong, the person who guessed drinks.
[hands him a glass]
Simple enough, right?

What game?
no subject
Truth or dare or drink! We'll take turns asking each other truth or dare, and someone picks. If they don't want to truthfully answer the question they're asked, or to do the dare they're given, they drink instead.

How do you win?
no subject
One of us will roll the dice out of sight of the other, and the other will guess what number will come up. If you're right, you don't drink. If you're wrong, you do. The loser is the first person to get too drunk to continue.
no subject
Are they all D6s? Medb will pick all one up and start shaking them. ]
That's simple enough. Let's hear your first guess.
