WEEK 7 - FAREWELL

Sunday morning rolls around rather easily. The base is calm and quiet, no one's been kidnapped and everyone's managed to stay alive. Congratulations on that. Everything is in perfect order as far as you can tell.

As you begin to wander the base, you'll notice a couple of handwritten signs directing you toward the indoor beach on Wrath's floor. Should you go, you'll find...

...several tables set up under open tents, pizzas spread out for anyone to take. There are drinks of the non-alcoholic and alcoholic type, chips, cookies, and general snack foods for anyone to have. There's that same stereo from the party in the fields stuck somewhere in the sand, playing music from a variety of different worlds. There's also a volleyball net set up, along with a few other toys and items like soccer balls, beach balls and more.

Entering the beach, you are soon filled with the innate knowledge of three specific things.

1.) The UWU has upheld its end of the programming, providing enough power to fuel any wish you may desire.
2.) Your phones have been activated and upgraded to unlimited texts with an interdimensional texting plan included to stay in touch.
3.) A new button on the elevator has been installed to go down to a basement-level floor, which will let you exit the base and step through a portal to go where you wish to go.

Some of you are likely to leave right away. But others of you may wish to mingle, play one more round of party games, and exchange your farewells.

And as for the UWU? Don't worry. The moment the last of you leaves, it will simply cease to function at all.

just kidding he's not an idiot and also he's back to normal again, so i'm sure this little white cat is enjoying the resentful energy lazily rolling off of him as he readjusts to having it. ] Mahito.

[Yeah he very much loves the resentful energy! SEE!! HE KNEW MING YI WAS FAMILIAR SHAPE!!!! He's literally just made up of his world's equivalent of resentful energy too, so if nothing else, that would have been a dead giveaway...

Anyway, the cat meows!! Hewwo. The cat also then starts trying to climb up Ming Yi's leg, god.]

but no, it's fine, he leans down to pick the kitty cat up under the leggies and holds it out to assess for a second. and then he'll just - bring it up to his shoulder and let it do whatever the fuck it wants. ]

[Sometimes you're just this way...

The cat wiggles excitedly when it's picked up?! And then immediately starts scrambling around on Ming Yi's shoulder when it's set there, good LORD. But it's okay, it settles down like a little neck pillow soon enough, just languidly draping over both of his shoulders. A happy flea cat... that is purring loudly in Ming Yi's ear...]

[ if he didn't already just get the Vibe, the wiggling would clue him in. but he just lets him do whatever he wants, tilting his head with the same deadpan expression on his face while this cat gets comfy on him.

once everything is in order, his head tilts the other way, and just. results in his cheek mushed against the top of this motorboat's head. ] Alright, I guess this is happening. Try not to change while I'm wearing you, for as hilarious as I know you'd think it'd be.

[ ... scritchies under the chin ]

[The wiggling would clue him in......

GOD, THOUGH. The purring just amps up!! Mahito is a very tactile creature in all forms. He bumps his little cat head against the mushed cheek, doing that nudging thing that cats do when they're feeling very affectionate. He hooks his little claws into Ming Yi's shirt so he doesn't go tumbling over from the force of his own enthusiasm, god.

Somehow, despite not saying anything, he manages to radiate some very Amused Vibes at the "try not to change while I'm wearing you". HOW DID YOU KNOW... DAMN. CAUGHT HIM.

But this is good for now because he can get scritchies in this form. Can a cat purr even louder?? APPARENTLY.]

[ YOU'RE A CREATURE OF CHAOS HOW COULD HE NOT KNOW? MAHITO??? but it's fine, as things are he's placid in his attention, letting mahito grab at the cloth with his little murder mitts and accepts his bumps and purrs. even his Amused Vibes. he'll keep scritching and give him a small rub on the cheek with his thumb as he resumes his trek towards the elevator. ]

I'm going home. I don't suppose you're trying to sneak away like this, or are you just having fun?

[ honestly does not seem even a little bit bothered by either option. ]

[STOP SEEING HIM.

He's having a great time soaking up all this attention, though. Being a cat actually is the best, after all! A nice tiny cat, much better than a murder(ed) panther.

In response to the question, he unhooks one murder mitt to bat the side of Ming Yi's face gently several times. Just some soft wup wup wups of a little paw, claws safely hidden. Seems like he's just having fun, the punk. He then stretches out to smush Ming Yi's nose. Bap... There's a little curious cat look after that, though! And then a glance back in the direction Ming Yi had come from. Not staying any longer?]

[ it's only by chance that misa passes by ming yi on his way to the elevator; she probably just wanted to grab a snack that wasn't available at the feast that's been set out for them. but whatever she glimpses out of the corner of her eye when he walks by is enough to catch her attention. she stops in her tracks and turns, wide eyed; before he can walk out of earshot, she asks, ]

You're not Ming Yi, are you?

[ being addressed makes him slow, although it's really what she asks him that brings him to a full stop. at this point, after two months of everything, heh can't really say he's that shocked by the question? he's been restored, so surely everyone else has, too, for whatever that might mean.

he does turn to look at her, at least. ]

No, I'm not.
