Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the death of Tartaglia Childe...well, perhaps there isn't any tension at all? Hard to say. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the eighth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

If you aren't too distracted, that is. For the most part, it may feel as though there isn't anything strange about this week. Everything proceeds as normal and life on the base is calm again. But every now and then, you'll feel a burning in your hand right where your tattoo is as it loses its color and fades to black temporarily. A sudden swell courses through your veins, almost as if being injected with a higher amount of your specific indulgence. You'll find it nearly impossible to do anything else until you act on it, draining the indulgence away and bringing color back to your marking. This won't always happen, and this won't always happen at a convenient time. It may be best to plan ahead. After all...if you ignore it for too long, you may find yourself changing. Those aligned with Envy may find themselves with several new eyes. Those aligned with Gluttony may find claws and a tail beginning to grow. Those aligned with Pride may feel a sharp pain in their head as a crown of thorns embeds itself into their skin. But the sooner you act, the sooner these changes will disappear.

Literary named voting powers. I know Gluttony has Extra Serving, but I don't know if the others all have a power related to voting.

I'm not exactly shocked many of theirs relate to the trials.

Yeah, overall it makes sense.

Envy could give out a power related to a trial, too - there's one where someone who used it could change someone else's vote to match theirs, but I don't know what it's called.

I think the one I have now is also one of Envy's, actually - when I asked about the powers they could give out a while back, they said one of them was to link two people together so they share injuries and emotions, which is pretty much what mine does now, right? And there's another power I don't know the name of, that could let you get an item from someone else's home.

Some abilities also aren't tied to any of the Avatars. I got one when Gu Yun [gestures at him] and the others went on their Thursday thing, and it had no name.

Probably. The notification looked like a tiny horn and the power was similar to something I can normally do, so... I guess it was tailored to me?

That's probably likely, yeah. It's too bad we can't really compare it to something else.
