Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and it’s the start of a new week!

Good thing, too. After the death of Tartaglia Childe...well, perhaps there isn't any tension at all? Hard to say. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.

Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the eighth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.

While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.

If you aren't too distracted, that is. For the most part, it may feel as though there isn't anything strange about this week. Everything proceeds as normal and life on the base is calm again. But every now and then, you'll feel a burning in your hand right where your tattoo is as it loses its color and fades to black temporarily. A sudden swell courses through your veins, almost as if being injected with a higher amount of your specific indulgence. You'll find it nearly impossible to do anything else until you act on it, draining the indulgence away and bringing color back to your marking. This won't always happen, and this won't always happen at a convenient time. It may be best to plan ahead. After all...if you ignore it for too long, you may find yourself changing. Those aligned with Envy may find themselves with several new eyes. Those aligned with Gluttony may find claws and a tail beginning to grow. Those aligned with Pride may feel a sharp pain in their head as a crown of thorns embeds itself into their skin. But the sooner you act, the sooner these changes will disappear.

Childe's scroll of 'the settlement' had 32 slots of names for rooms, including the name 'Hisoka Morow' that was easily readable. Also included were Sebastian Michaelis, Ryan Farrow, and Clint Barton, who was the same on that list.

... And there's at least one name missing, for certain.

Speaking of which, do we have any idea what the 'settlement' is? It came up in my scroll too.

It's wherever they lived. Childe's scroll had a map of it - I could redraw it, if it's needed.

I think Mineo and Childe might have saw it when they were investigating. Didn't Childe blow something up?

.... I think that we saw something like that - two... weeks ago? In the Command Room. I went with Childe. [which. god. that's so fucking stupid now that he's thinking about it, sighing]

It was a barren landscape out the viewport, and then some kind of old settlement-looking thing? Then Childe hit a button and it seemed like it got hit by a laser. Afterward he hit a bigger button, the lights went out, and then we ended up getting licked by what was probably the creature.

Hm. Maybe what I saw in the jail vision, then. If it was just wherever they lived, I guess it's not that important to us.

... I've been thinking - since I heard Yanagi-senpai might be here. Maybe... what I saw in the jail could've been related to him and... an Avatar memory at the same time? There was cigarette smoke after, so I thought...

Anyway, it reminded me a lot of him... I didn't want to think it was related until now, but if all the pieces are coming together...

I think that's true. Sheila and I thought what we saw in the chapel was only related to Pride, but it's possible it was related to something else.

[And in fact it was but I'm just not sure how to reach that conclusion.]

From the way Wrath walked me through what I saw, I think I got someone's execution from the past round. Dunno if that would be related specifically to the Avatars or someone else, unless any of you know if an Avatar drives an Impala...?

.... yeah. I think it could've been. There was just - stuff. Yanagi-senpai, Takeru, and I all went to a church recently, which is where the memory was set. I felt like I was wearing fur on my coat - which he had. And they found his coat recently, bloodied.... And at the end of the memory, cigarette smoke, when he's a big smoker. That kind of thing.

[he clears his throat after, trying to collect himself]

I don't know what else could be helpful, I guess. There were just thoughts of not being able to stay there forever, and wondering what the point was if someone was gone.
