WEEK 7 MINGLE
POPULATION: 18 19
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and itβs the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the death of Tartaglia Childe...well, perhaps there isn't any tension at all? Hard to say. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the eighth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
If you aren't too distracted, that is. For the most part, it may feel as though there isn't anything strange about this week. Everything proceeds as normal and life on the base is calm again. But every now and then, you'll feel a burning in your hand right where your tattoo is as it loses its color and fades to black temporarily. A sudden swell courses through your veins, almost as if being injected with a higher amount of your specific indulgence. You'll find it nearly impossible to do anything else until you act on it, draining the indulgence away and bringing color back to your marking. This won't always happen, and this won't always happen at a convenient time. It may be best to plan ahead. After all...if you ignore it for too long, you may find yourself changing. Those aligned with Envy may find themselves with several new eyes. Those aligned with Gluttony may find claws and a tail beginning to grow. Those aligned with Pride may feel a sharp pain in their head as a crown of thorns embeds itself into their skin. But the sooner you act, the sooner these changes will disappear.
Dedication's sweet, isn't it? Do try to give it your all.

Mm, it seemed that Mahito was confirming he recognized some of the dead from his world. [ maybe one of the 32 from that list. ] I wonder what state they're in...

... I don't know.
It's weird then, isn't it? That they're around, but...
[beau and tamaki might not be?]

he's going to reach out to molly's shoulder and squeeze once before letting go and focusing again]

Do we know... where they are? Who else is with them? I know that we got an answer a few weeks ago that the souls are being kept and maybe... watched by someone else...?
no subject
So... yeah, it sounds like someone watches over them.
no subject
But - thanks, White.

[she shakes her head]
If that's something we've gotten an answer to, it hasn't been shared with me. [...] It would - with the messages coming through glitched, it would... be good if we could figure out some way for them to speak more plainly, but...
[she has no idea how to stop the glitching]

[she bites her lip]

But you're right. It'd be nice if our messages weren't glitched - I wonder why they got worse? Only yours was glitched last time, right? Or maybe one other? But mine was fine...

[her brow furrows]
Right. And when I asked about it, I was told that next time they should say less because less is more, which... led me to believe it was about what was being said, rather than the length itself, since what I actually received was much shorter than the messages others got.
But maybe we're at a point where everything they need to say is the sort of thing that risks being glitched...?

[ hm. ]
Although if the glitching is meant to make the messages harder for us to understanding, only censoring that one part does the same for this one.

... That name at the end of the note—I saw it in the security room, and Gojou confirmed he knew who it was. So...

[ says him, in this mess. ]
Whoever is listening! Make sure to keep Mahito on a tight leash!

Then it does seem likely that the dead from before exist in some capacity, if our dead can see and perceive them in some way. [ but did they go the way of beau and tamaki... ]
