WEEK 6 MINGLE
POPULATION: 19
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and itβs the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the deaths of Aoi Mukou, Lenore and Mahito, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
Or maybe you won't? It's been a very emotional six weeks, hasn't it? Surely you're feeling conflicted about many things. Happiness. Sadness. Anger. Disgust. These feelings are all an important part of you, and this week it seems as though you'll be sharing them with others. Regardless of who you're speaking with, you will find that you will be subjected to feeling their emotions, and they yours. But lucky for you, there's a way to fix that! When two people settle down to patiently talk these feelings out, the connection will be broken.
...until the next time you see each other, that is.
Get in touch with your sensitive side, everyone. Maybe you'll learn something new this week.

[given that it's just a simulation, he doesn't hesitate before dashing towards the cyclops. admittedly, the cyclop's size means there is actually, like, one mild problem—namely reaching the eye in the first place (why does no one have any projectiles) but it's fine, he's evaluating how he'll find a way to get up there as he runs.
bye sheila and meg]

Not a fan of Gu Yun's less conventionally attractive twin?
[Curiously. She is absolutely happy to stand here and gossip while the cyclops immediately tries to trample White. This bitch is large and heavy.]
no subject
Not particularly. He was sent to Tartarus for a reason, you know.
[ she's got nothing but distaste for the guy, but also - as she watches white, there might be a tiny bit of concern for him leaking through. ]
...We should probably help him, huh?
[ too bad she is a noodle. ]
no subject
he jumps up to stab the cyclops in the leg, in hopes of propelling himself upwards like that, but 1) who knows how well pixellated weapons stab, and 2) the cyclops kicks out, sending white flying.
he manages to land on his feet, stabbing his sword into the ground to bring himself to a skidding halt.]
... Well, shit. Guess this is gonna be trickier than I thought...
[he is apparently not offended that sheila and meg are doing nothing, though.]
no subject
[She is not overly concerned because White is scrappy and this is a simulation. He'll be fine. Maybe.]
Do you know how to fight?
[They are both noodles.
Though, they may not have much of a choice when the ground proceeds to turn springy just as the cyclops charges again. Shock waves spread through the trampoline-like floor, and... yeah. Good luck not getting yeeted.]
no subject
Not one bit.
[ - and then the ground changes, and with a shriek, meg's suddenly hurtling through the air. she lands in a crumpled, groaning heap. ]
no subject
Wh—!?
[white's caught off-guard, but he manages to land properly again, before he runs to meg in alarm.]
Hey! You okay?
[—actually, not much time to wait, what with the cyclops charging, so he's sheathing his sword and picking up meg so that they can get out of the way! sorry, meg.]
no subject
Sheila ends up landing and rolling away in the opposite direction. She lays there as the ground continues to wobble... and just lifts a hand with a thumbs up.]
I'm okay! [...] Wait. Where's my axe.
[It is. Somewhere. Please do not tip on the axe. Unless you are the cyclops, then by all means.]
no subject
[ she's cut off with a yelp of surprise as white scoops her up?! and automatically throws her arms around him like he's some kind of lifeline.
maybe the cyclops will step on her scythe, where it bounced off to. ]
How are you supposed to fight it if you're carrying me?!
no subject
[as they run from this cyclops]
I'll put you down when I can! Sheila, can you distract it for a sec!?
no subject
And then:]
Hm?
[Sheila is on the floor. Sheila is on her phone. Sheila is at the combination floor and phone time.]
... Ohh, yeah. Yeah! Hang on. [Bouncing up! Still looking at her phone as she waves at the cyclops and rolls to taunt.] Hey, motherfucker! Come get a piece of this!
[Her axe is still somewhere out there.]
no subject
At least throw some dirt in its eye?
no subject
......... which is bad for a whole new reason now, as white quickly places meg down (on her feet, he's not a complete asshole) and chases after the cyclops. run, sheila, run.]
no subject
Rolled to see how quickly the cyclops will catch up to her and
why won't god let mom die.
Anyway, she will lead it away from wherever Megara is. Teamwork!]
no subject
white gets a flash of gratitude from meg before he runs off - and then she's just. staring at the sky. why. yakety sax is playing somewhere in the distance. ]
Is now really the time to be on your phone? [ SIGHS. ] Sheila, the axe is that way! White - the scythe?
[ pointing! at both of the pixel weapons! one of you please do something about them! ]
no subject
Sheila, grab your axe and try throwing it at the eye!
[he's going to see if he can use the bouncing effect to his advantage, but. yeeting the thing is always an option (he does not trust sheila to be able to climb up there).]
no subject
[She finally tucks her phone back into her titties, swerving to run towards her axe and somehow not eating shit despite the fact that she's running in stiletto boots. Awful.
The floor seems to listen to White's request, becoming springy once again. Awesome! But does Sheila reach her axe before the cyclops stomping around causes the whole place to jiggle again?
No. β€οΈ
Both Sheila and the axe go flying. Heads up.]
no subject
[ yeet
honestly this is what she gets for backseat gladiating. goodbye. ]
no subject
[well there goes that idea but
if the axe looks like it might be headed in meg's direction, white's just going to act on instinct and throw the scythe at it to knock it off course.
white manages to land, though given that they were all yeeted at the same time, he can't really help if meg and sheila botch theirs. rip. but while the ground is being bouncy, he's going to pull out his sword and jump onto the cyclops's arm.]
no subject
—Oh, come on!
[Extremely annoyed.
She may or may not land on the cyclop's head. It's fine.]
no subject
but sheila's not the only one that's getting annoyed!! so she's marching all wobbly-like over to the scythe, wherever it landed, to pick it up and glare up at the cyclops. ]
Why don't you go back to Tartarus, you big, myopic oaf!
[ axe go YEET ]
no subject
well is sheila doing fine on the cyclops's head or is she about to tumble off, as that'll determine whether white focuses on killing this thing or trying to help her]
no subject
RNG won't let her die because she just rolled another 20, so guess she's doing fine? She lands with an oof, digging her nails into the cyclop's scalp but somehow managing to retain her grip. The only downside of this is that its now trashing around, trying to get both White and Sheila off it.]
Oh, my god. Just stay still, you asshole!
[Kicking it? In the face? Go for the kill, y'all.]
no subject
the crowd is going wild, at least? go white and sheila! meg is here too, i guess. ]
no subject
[but yeah white will just jump around to stay on as it thrashes about, before going ahead to stab it in the eye now. yaaaaaay.]
