WEEK 6 MINGLE
POPULATION: 19
Good morning, starshines. It is another beautiful day here on the base, and itβs the start of a new week!
Good thing, too. After the deaths of Aoi Mukou, Lenore and Mahito, the tension around the base may be a bit higher than it was before. Should anyone try to contact the deceased or review their profiles, they will find that they have been deleted from everyone's phones.
Perhaps you expect this by now, but it seems that the elevator reveals that it may now visit the fourth floor. It may be worth checking out these new areas, free for exploration. If you're feeling incredibly ambitious, you can also take a more in-depth look. Strange things are happening, little sinners. Don't be shy now.
While you can't contact the deceased, the Avatars are once again available via their eight symbols. Shoot them a message, have a chat with them, and see what you can learn. Perhaps you'll find it easier this week.
Or maybe you won't? It's been a very emotional six weeks, hasn't it? Surely you're feeling conflicted about many things. Happiness. Sadness. Anger. Disgust. These feelings are all an important part of you, and this week it seems as though you'll be sharing them with others. Regardless of who you're speaking with, you will find that you will be subjected to feeling their emotions, and they yours. But lucky for you, there's a way to fix that! When two people settle down to patiently talk these feelings out, the connection will be broken.
...until the next time you see each other, that is.
Get in touch with your sensitive side, everyone. Maybe you'll learn something new this week.

Can we lock it from the outside?
[he should have other qualms besides this one]
In all seriousness, I don't really think letting him live until Thursday when everyone's knocked out is a great idea. I know people said that they're worried that it might invite an execution and a vote, but I also am willing to take that risk.
The other suggestions were drug him or curse him so he can't kill anyone on Thursday but we'd need powers for that, and also not to discuss what those powers are so he can prepare against them, like an asshole.
[say how you really feel, mineo]

I think the hubris power isn't a bad idea, but one of Primrose, Megara or Endorsi would have to agree with it as a strategy.
I don't know that we should kill him before Thursday, because I think it's very likely someone needs to die on Thursday night no matter what we do.

... do you think...?
[ . . . ]
So you're leaving him as a sacrifice....?
[weird, how this makes him struggle a little. it's a little bit more conflicted than just straightforwardly killing someone]

I guess we did let the murdering robot walk around a week longer than we should have, so this isn't so out of custom.

I also agree with the use of the hubris power. If we need to offer or trade something for their cooperation, I think that's fair.
For the most part, this place is a life for a life, even if both lives are innocent, and that's something we would need to consider if we're going to execute him off schedule. If that weight on everyone's shoulders is fine, then...

I wouldn't mind if you actually think it would work, but I'm not convinced.

What if no one else murders this week and we gotta vote to execute for Childe's murder?
[ Is that being too optimistic or too pessimistic? ]

What Sheila-san said basically. We really don't have to vote... and I hope that at this point, this group of people wouldn't.

We don't have any guarantees those precautions would work, right? And if someone murders and they don't pick him, we're stuck with two living murderers on Saturday.
