WEEK 4 TRIAL
POPULATION: 23
Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.
Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Wrath, Greed, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.
Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.
Wrath is sitting on the table, organizing notes and gently sliding them to Greed. Sloth is here with what looks like a dog-shaped neck pillow sticking out of the edges of their hood. The spiraled horn on the top of their head is longer and sharper. Greed is leaning against the table in an attempt to be present, hands tentatively reaching forward to take the papers from Wrath. Despair has taken their usual seat, just vibing here as they quietly observe. Oddly, Sloth, Greed and Wrath are not in their cloaks today. Instead, they are in sweatpants (shorts in Wrath's case) and cozy hoodies in their color with their symbol printed on the front. The hoods are pulled over their heads however. Once everyone has settled, Sloth chimes in.
Everyone has nine hours again! You can do it! Last time, you even did it a little early! Wow!
Hello, and welcome to your fifth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.
There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.
Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

but okay, he'll check her head first for any injuries on the front or the back of it, and will check her hair as well. he'll also look in her mouth in case there's a murder confession stuffed in there. ]

but alright, he will check her neck to see if there are any marks there too. more frostbite? other signs of injuries?
he'll also look over her clothing from the front and back. is there any spots that are particularly bloody or messed up? for the back, is there any blood spots that doesn't look like it's from where the blood trailed down? does she have pockets?? in her pants or if she's wearing a jacket or something, but if she is, he will rudely go through them to see if there's anything there. ]

even if takeru sticks his hand into her pocket, he will find that something appears to be...stuck...to her.
if there are other injuries, they're likely hidden by her clothes!

but okay, he will take her clothes off. do her pants come off even if something is stuck?? i'm sorry for all these question marks, mods. but before he looks at her body further he will try to unstuck this thing so he can look at it. ]

a.) her hand is frozen as if it was holding onto something!
b.) her arm...snaps...off...falling out of the sleeve of her shirt...farewell.
removing the rest of the clothing, takeru will find that the object is pretty firmly stuck to her and making pants removal difficult. with a little wiggling though, he will be able to dislodge it. with her pants off, he will see that there's now a phone-sized patch of raw skin, and that the object itself was her phone.
as for the body? there seem to be bruises along her chest, her arms, and her legs, frostbite along her fingies and toes.]

the hold of her hand though. does it look like she was holding something like in her fist, like is it closed tightly around something, or just that there was something in her grasp that isn't there anymore?
what do the bruises look like? are they large? small? do they make any particular shape, or is it just vague bruise shapes. are the bruises only on her front, or are they also on her back if he looks there too? ]

anyway, her hand looks more like something was in a grip that's no longer there, fingers curled around but not an entirely closed fist.
the bruises seem to vary in size and shape, somewhat haphazardly scattered. they can be found on both the front and the back though if he looks.]

he'll also look at her hands in general, including the one that is no longer connected to the body in some freak accident that had nothing to do with takeru's choices. if he looks at the knuckles, are there any bruises on them? or bruises anywhere on the hands. is there anything in the nails?? scratches? blood?
for the bruises on the body, is there a particular spot where it looks to be more focused on? ]

there are no bruises on her hands or scratches! it's just frostbite. and in looking at the bruises on the body, they're kind of all over the place? like she was actively moving when those bruises occurred. though weirdly there's also a bruise on her elbow that seems to spread over it.]

does the elbow bruise look different somehow from the other ones? or is it all just, you know, bruise.
