Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Wrath, Greed, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Wrath is sitting on the table, organizing notes and gently sliding them to Greed. Sloth is here with what looks like a dog-shaped neck pillow sticking out of the edges of their hood. The spiraled horn on the top of their head is longer and sharper. Greed is leaning against the table in an attempt to be present, hands tentatively reaching forward to take the papers from Wrath. Despair has taken their usual seat, just vibing here as they quietly observe. Oddly, Sloth, Greed and Wrath are not in their cloaks today. Instead, they are in sweatpants (shorts in Wrath's case) and cozy hoodies in their color with their symbol printed on the front. The hoods are pulled over their heads however. Once everyone has settled, Sloth chimes in.

Everyone has nine hours again! You can do it! Last time, you even did it a little early! Wow!

Hello, and welcome to your fifth trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

By now we're familiar with this process, yes? State where you slept on Thursday night, and the effect that you experienced, both in the evening and on Friday morning, as well as who you were with.

We can use that to create a list of locations to investigate first. There should be fewer this time, at least. Let's begin.

I was in the House, with Yuri, Molly, Primrose, Yuel, Wrath and Envy. We all became immediately very hungry as the doors locked, and in the morning, everything smelled like burnt food.

But for the records: Me, you, Molly, Prim, Yuel, Envy and Wrath were in the house on the fifth floor. On Thursday night we were all super hungry with no real explanation. Come Friday morning, the whole house smelled like burned food.

We stayed in Qingxuan's room, although we originally were planning on heading to the planetarium to join Meg there.

I was with Mahito in the woods. During the night, we could hear animals howling somewhere in the distance. In the morning, we both smelled like dogs...?

A few people have told me that Eleanor had a dog with her on Thursday night, so I think the woods might be worth checking.

Y'know, given the song that played yesterday with the announcement, I hope Eleanor didn't get vored or something...

I was by myself in the planetarium. Thursday night, there were comets shooting through the stars, and they all burst into light. Friday morning, most of the constellations were some kind of fish. That's all.

[ he would normally say something much more sarcastic here but this is the kindness trial and therefore - ] You should try not to stay by yourself, in the future.

Any idea what kind of fish? Large, small? Maybe shrimp?

Sheila, Vira, Harrowhark, Eleanor, and I were in the conference room. For the record, there was nothing unusual about Eleanor that we could see. During the night, we were all really sleepy. We'd just fall asleep randomly for a few seconds then wake up. On Friday morning, there was a hole in the middle of the table.

Another thing to note is that Eleanor had brought a pomeranian dog with her last night, but the dog was missing when we woke up. So we should keep an eye out for it.

[mineo shifts to pull something out of his pocket - though he looks a little confused as he does so - before bringing out a handkerchief with some treats from the dog park]

If anyone's headed out, bring some treats with you, and a bottle of water. Just in case it'll help find the dog faster.... I hope he's not hungry.

I hope the dog okay... Poor little guy must have been so scared if it ran off on its own.

Aopi and I stayed in the city. It smelled... um... fishy as soon as we went in there, and then when we woke up on Friday...

[ here she fidgets a little, looking away. ]

We could see the day that all the ghost people would die.

Mineo, White, Lenore and I were in the medbay. Puddles spontaneously appeared under us starting from when the doors locked, and then on Friday morning, there was... water on the walls of the room? Like that condensation you get from cold glasses of water being left out in the sun. [ she pauses ] No one tasted it [ THANK GOD ] but it just smelled like water and it was only happening there. So. I don't know.

I was in the common room with Childe. After the doors locked, it became chilly, and I couldn't get warm. In the morning, I couldn't move my fingers.

[ She tilts her head. ]

I don't know if that'd be a hint to a location or... towards something that occurred that night.
