Week 3 Execution
POPULATION: 25
Sunday morning is a calm and quiet affair after the events of the trial before. All traces of evidence and damage has disappeared as of yesterday and Simulations continues to be occupied by the chosen culprit.
At about 1pm, however, everyone will receive a mass text once more.
Good morning, everyone. Please join us in the conference room for a view which will surely take your breath away.
Unlike Saturday, participants will not be forced to enter the conference room. It seems as though you really do have a choice...unless you're TRAFALGAR LAW and YUEL who will find they cannot resist and will be compelled into walking forward.
As the pair of them enter the conference room, they will find themselves walking through a door hidden away in a corner. The moment they step through it, the door will seal and disappear. The previously dark window soon lights up, providing a clear view of them to all who remain in the room. The four Avatars from yesterday's trial are seated at their table, and the TV that hangs above them turns on as audio begins to filter into the room to provide a clear picture of what's happening inside the other room.
Prepare yourselves, everyone. This may not be easy to watch.

[ Yuel is still booting up her bearings, not catching on as fast as Law had on what the symbols and sounds coming from their suit means. But when he comes at her, some desperately needed survival instincts kick into gear, her feet kicking at the ground to dodge his attack.
... Except there is no ground! So he gets her right in the side, the blow slightly cushioned by the fact that they're in space, but enough to get her head to knock against the inside of her helmet. ]
Why'd ya bother turnin' yourself in at all then?!
[ Was he just looking for another body to kill? Seriously. She's annoyed enough to rear one leg back and jam it against his stomach to get him away from her, her other foot catching against a piece of debris to start angling back toward the ship. ]

on his way, he'll notice a particular sharp piece of metal and give it a hard(?) knock it with his hand towards her, aiming at her arm. nyoom space debris nyoom. yuel might not understand what the beeping or the symbols mean but law does and he's not going to lose sight of yuel.
rather, something vital to her suit and keeping her alive. keeping them both alive. ]
Because there was two people who needed to be caught and there was no point in wasting all of our time circling around one person.
[ so, yeah, he played along because even if he got caught there was still one another person who killed. one other person and watching them mix up the evidence... he could only feint his disinterest for so long. ...though if that person ended up being the one he killed perhaps this is just poetic justice of some sort. ]
I gave credit where it was due.

She huffs, grabbing another rock, bigger this time to haul herself forward, almost swimming as she tries to propel herself. ]
So what? Yer actually some kinda good guy?
[ Well, he is a doctor, she guesses.
But anyway, ] I'm gonna give ya one more chance. I don't want either of us to die, but if ya keep askin' me for a fight, I'm gonna have to teach you a lesson.
[ Though, as soon as she says this she ducks around another meteoroid, keeping it between the two of them as she grabs the rope to slowly pull herself back toward the ship, focusing on the symbols inside her helmet and starting to realize that they might be a warning. ]
no subject
There's nothing good about me.
[ you now, just in case someone wanted to think of him in a good light—don't. law isn't here for yuel to think highly of him in the last minute, especially when he eyes her rope and starts to plan on his next course of action as he drifts closer to her. yeah, he'll let her go about doing that. ]
...but I'll give you a hint, there's no way that both of us can make it out of here alive. [ he'll tap on his helmet. ] That beeping? We're running out of time.
[ so, you know, he'll give yuel this much since she's a little bit slow on the uptake about this. funny how he just insists he's not a good person and yet will do these things, but it's not as though she has done anything wrong to him personally.
he killed douman because of his own personal reasons. ]

But he gives her a hint, as she watches the steadily depleting meter on the screen in front of her, she knows that he's right. ]
Ya really just want a fight, don'cha? [ She's still hovering behind the meteoroid. There's a small belt of metal pieces by her—she takes one, and breathes in for a moment. ] Fine.
[ Emerging from behind the meteoroid, she whips it at him, with as much momentum as she can muster in this hellish void, and she's quick to follow after, kicking away from the meteoroid so that she can launch herself at him, probably not fast enough to tackle him, but at least close enough that she can hold on and bring her fist down against his helmet. ]

there's no gravity and how force works so strangely, but when yuel's fist lands against his helmet, law's head rattles within its confines. it's a new enough sensation that it disorientates him for a moment, leaving him open. again, weird. though since she launched herself at him, he'll take the opportunity to propel the two of them towards a rock. ]
I want to survive. [ and if he needs to fight to survive then that's just the natural order of things. ] Again, nothing personal.
[ with a hand he'll try to reach out to grab either at a piece of debri or at her rope. he doesn't want to drag this out long for multiple reasons at this point. ]
no subject
She comes back just in time to see him take her rope in hand, pulling it apart like it's nothing, ] No!
[ And quickly focus gives way to furious panic, one of her hands reaching to smack against his head while she reaches for his own tether to tear it apart, but she intends to grab the end still connect to the ship, using it at her own anchor to guide her back. ]
no subject
he hadn't expected their tethers to be that fragile but it drives home just what he needed to do. he had given yuel a hint but he isn't too sure she has realized just what she had to do if either of them wanted to make it back to the station. well, given the way that she reaches for the tether again guess not.
though he doesn't have much time to really care about that as he watches his tether break just as easily and there's that cold panic that is so unfamiliar to him. he isn't afraid of dying, but...
he'll make a grab at yuel (her leg depending on how far forward she is from him) and to, again, fling (or push) her into some nearby debris as they continue to make it back towards the station. the flashing lights illuminating their space suits. his eyes are still focused on the real prize located on her back. ]
no subject
She kicks at his head, desperate to detach him from her body. Forgetting why she'd engaged him in the first place, and thinking only of the fact that there's nothing else holding her to the ship. Nothing to grasp and help her back. ]
Get offa me, ya punk! [ She's so mad. ] I ain't dying here—not because of your relationship problems!
[ She can't think straight now, furious with him and panicked without anything to tether them back to the ship. Whatever advice he'd given her is long forgotten as she starts scrambling forward, using the debris to push and kick herself but it's too slow. The meter's going down, and all she can think about is dragging herself back. ]
no subject
because.... what?
but the very moment where he snaps to, the beeping getting more worrying, law can't just keep his mouth shut. if he was going to survive this—if either of them were going to survive this... ]
The tank you idiot!
[ he snaps as he finds a new piece of debris, another shredded piece of metal, to use to fling himself off of. this time with more intent as he goes flying as fast as he can towards yuel. if she's not careful, he'll tackle her again into whatever's in their way this time. ]
We don't have enough oxygen to get us back to that damned station.
[ this will be his final clue. if either one of them are going to live then they need to get it sorted as they make their way closer to the space station. the sooner the better, of course. ]

The panic clears and it clicks into place. He's helping her. Despite his miniature villain speech about not being a good person, and the way that he'd launched the first attempt, he's still helping her because she knows without a doubt that she would've just crawled her way back to the ship on her own, and died half way without enough air to breathe.
He's just... a tsundere. ]
Oxygen...?
[ She turns to face him when he comes flying at her, his body slamming into hers, but she's bracing for it, glad that it's inching them closer to the station. Smaller pieces of debris are hitting them now as they get closer to the ship, and she should maybe be thankful for his help. But he's been knocked around enough that when she scrambles to grab the closest piece of shrapnel that floats by her so that she can slam it to his nape, she hopes it's enough to finally get him out of her way. ]
no subject
so much for not being a nice person, but yuel has done nothing wrong other than be put in this situation. it would have been easier if this was something more straight-forward, at least then he could keep up an act. ]
Yes, oxygen.
[ he sighs and glances down at the meter and then the distance left they have to travel. this wasn't how things were supposed to go and this wasn't what he wanted. ]
Either you take my tank or I'll take your's.
[ so, there you go. have your ultimatum and law will have no more words for you, yuel. and with that said and done, law will position himself once more towards yuel on the rock and kicks himself off toward her and the ship. ]
no subject
[ She doesn't think twice about the two options in front of them, and when he comes at her again, she meets him head on, taking the blow with a grunt and using the momentum to twist them both into a nearby rock. It's not a neat landing, both of them crashing their sides against it. His limbs are longer than hers, but there's also more of him to collide against the rock when they're attached to each other like this.
She doesn't bother mouthing off any more or offering any gratitude for his help, just forming a fist to smash against his face, trying to disorient him enough that she can slam him face first into the rock, grabbing at his tank and ready to rip it away from him.
Even if he'd killed Douman, she doesn't want to kill him for it. Not with her bare hands like this, and leave him in this vacuum to die alone. But she has to get back, and not just for herself. ]

the collision against the rock expectantly knocks the air (haha) out of him and again with the head trauma!! but it goes in her favor as it gives her time to get her fingers around his tank. not that he will roll over and allow her to have it even if everything about this is strange and confusing. space made it confusing enough to know what's up or down but now it's hard to keep things straight.
in his own last ditch effort, he'll reach and grab a hold of one of yuel's hand as she holds onto his tank. if she rips it out before he can yank her off and take her tank then, well, that was good on her. she deserves to live. he just wanted to survive. ]
no subject
There's only a moment's hesitation as she looks at his back there, remorse already crawling up her chest to her throat, and there's no helping the futile, ] sorry [ that eeks out of her before she's kicking off from the rock and away from him.
She doesn't get much closer to the ship before the air in her helmet goes thin, struggling to replace the tank all while refusing to stop, kicking from one piece of debris to the other, closer and closer. There's not quite enough air in Law's tank, not with how long they'd fought, but she makes it back to the ship, slamming her hands against the hatch to get inside, gasping in her helmet as she struggles with it. ]
no subject
As Law's last breaths slowly filter out of him, the airlock bursts open and Yuel is swept inside just as the last of the tank runs out and shatters against her. The remnants of the tank float outward, joining the space debris and returning to Law's side as he floats listlessly. A sharp piece of the tank collides into him, taking his body down and out of sight as Yuel finally enters the conference room.
Trafalgar Law is dead.
The conference room goes dark as the lights go out, the white execution room flashing before going black as the conference room lights up once more. The door has disappeared, and the Avatars are no longer at their table.
The events of the day have finished.

In fact, she appreciates it so much she's just going to slowly melt face first onto the ground and chill. ]
