WEEK 2 EXECUTION
POPULATION: 28
Sunday morning is a calm and quiet affair after the events of the trial before. All traces of evidence and damage has disappeared as of yesterday and Simulations continues to be occupied by the chosen culprit.
At about 1pm, however, everyone will receive a mass text once more.
It's time. You guys don't have to come if you don't want to, but.
Unlike Saturday, participants will not be forced to enter the conference room. It seems as though you really do have a choice...unless you're TAMOTSU FUKUDA and OMI FUSHIMI who will find they cannot resist and will be compelled into walking forward.
As the pair of them enter the conference room, they will find themselves walking through a door hidden away in a corner. The moment they step through it, the door will seal and disappear. The previously dark window soon lights up, providing a clear view of them to all who remain in the room. The four Avatars from yesterday's trial are seated at their table, and the TV that hangs above them turns on as audio begins to filter into the room to provide a clear picture of what's happening inside the other room.
Prepare yourselves, everyone. This may not be easy to watch.

Why doesn't he have more of a survival instinct, people are fucking dying and that's a serial killer in denial about being a serial killer.

Sees the best in people? I don't know, trying to figure it out exhausts me, Mineo. I would have stabbed him by now, considering the monologue.
no subject
it messes with him, and his bleeding heart.
but he can't say that so instead he just thunks his forehead against ming yi's shoulder tiredly]
.... I probably would've too, Yi-kun.
[even if there's something in his voice that sounds vaguely unsure and mostly just tired]

look at ming yi, making friends! getting a nickname! awww!]

But it isn't. So Ming Yi untucks his hand from the crook of his elbow and pats Mineo on the head, twice, like one does to a pet. ]
I know you won't leave, so you might as well suffer through it with the rest of us.

mineo can't say what he would or wouldn't have done in there, because too much of what he thinks or feels is based entirely on context. but at least here, he just settles a little with the head pats, leaning into the touch like he's affection-starved before he raises his head again]
.... yeah. He's still the one paying for our choices, so.
[and when he chooses to just take himself out - mineo sighs out a breath. maybe one last act of mercy.]

[ His arms stay crossed, hand tucking back in place again, and he - waits. He doesn't know how this is going to play out, with Omi rushing to help him. Doesn't know if it'll count, considering, or if they're going to be here watching this as they wait for death to take someone. ]

so he just frowns some more as his brow twitches and he watches.]
.... we still have work to do. Fukuda-san still wasn't who we were looking for. Maybe this is the decision that lets us all sleep at night.
But it's still... It leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Let's get started, then.
