Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

Proceed to the conference room.

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Greed, Wrath, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Greed is seated at the end of the table with a series of papers in their hands. Wrath is sitting sideways in a chair, leaning against Despair, feet in Greed's lap, with their phone out, taking selfies. Despair seems to be holding still to allow this. Sloth is dead asleep, head down on the table and snoring. When some of the last few people enter, they startle awake suddenly with a yelp which gets everyone's attention.

"Ahh, I'm up! Wow, it's time already?! You guys have 9 long hours to figure everything out!"

Hello, and welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

[ Great. Well, he's going to carefully follow the pieces and pick them out one by one. Anything else that he finds along the way? Anything bloody? Why did all three of the victims this week wear suits and various suit-like ensembles, I, Snow, am personally crying. ]

then, he'll take a look at the music sheets and furniture. are they just generically lying around near this tuba? any theme behind the music?]

[ Gojou hears out Ming Yi and takes note of it since... He can understand that, but uhm. What is White talking about. ]

What does what mean, Whiiiiite?

[ Gojou checks out the plate! Also, are there more cacti around here past the center of the room? Is there less? Are they mostly untouched cacti? ]

[as ming yi goes around gathering these bits of cloth, he will find that they're mostly blood free! except for the fact that the sleeves and the ends of the pants are slightly soaked in blood and a little messed up, but that's probably fine.

everything's sort of generically lying around, as if thrown about in a scuffle basically. there's no theme to anything and it's kind of a haphazard mess more than a pattern of any sort.

and gojou has a plate! amazing. there's probably a little light grease smearing as if the croissants were on the plate initially. there are so many fucking cacti i cannot express to you that you are all walking around a carpet of tiny cacti. so many of them are trampled. some of them survived the cacti war. think fondly of them.]

[ Why. He picks those up by pinching a corner between thumb and finger, to ensure he doesn't get blood all over his hands or mess up any of the evidence. Collecting everything and then double-checking to make sure he's not missing anything before he wades through to rejoin White and Gojou over in the cacti and croissants side of things. ]

Some weirdass message about bread, though there's a crossed out "cra" too...

[white's going to check to see if there's anything noteworthy about the dj station! if not, then the platform area?]

[ hello ming yi gojou will give him a wave even if he got some bloody evidence with him now. ]

Huh... Crossed out. [ Gojou is just holding onto the plate idly as he takes that in. ] Was the handwriting the same throughout?

[ Okay, now he checks the plate for any fingerprints/handprints, then also the coffee cup, too. Are these mostly clean, too? no blood or cacti bits on them. ]

[at a glance, no, there's nothing else that really sticks out! the dj station and the platform area itself look pretty okay aside from the general "there's probably cacti around it and some stuff knocked over nearby." as for gojou, the plate and cup are clean! they were dropped fairly close to the door, too, so they were pretty safe from the cacti. there might be some general fingerprints of a person holding the plate, but it's not a bunch of clear prints or anything.]

Unless the two of you can think of anything else, perhaps it's time to head back with what we've found.

[ Ming Yi looks tired of them both and looks at Greed. ]
