Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

Proceed to the conference room.

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Greed, Wrath, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Victims: Vlad Masters, Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Greed is seated at the end of the table with a series of papers in their hands. Wrath is sitting sideways in a chair, leaning against Despair, feet in Greed's lap, with their phone out, taking selfies. Despair seems to be holding still to allow this. Sloth is dead asleep, head down on the table and snoring. When some of the last few people enter, they startle awake suddenly with a yelp which gets everyone's attention.

"Ahh, I'm up! Wow, it's time already?! You guys have 9 long hours to figure everything out!"

Hello, and welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

[vlad's face is handsome and immaculate. the epitome of a well-groomed, exceptional man. nothing is in the hair, or behind the ears except for blood from the neck wound.

there is a tongue in the mouth. what it do? who knows. there are bits of croissant crumbs in there, too.]

[A very sexy tongue, indeed. Douman actually reaches their bloody nasty fingers inside the mouth to pull out a few crumbs just to. Look at them closer. DID YOU THINK THEY WERE GOING TO EAT THEM?? NO. One last peek to the back of the throat just for the sake of it.]

[But anyways, that being done, time to move onto to the chest! Anything there or on the shoulders?]

[the crumbs look like masticated croissant! hungwy. nothing else is there except (wap voice) that lil dangly thing that swing in the back of my throat.

on vlad's chest, there is a healed-over impalement scar. nothing on his shoulders.]

[Impalement scar...? Hello?????]

[Anyways. Nice. Time to check out the forearms, since those have lacerations. How big are they?]

[there are cuts and stab wounds, all disorganized and haphazard along the forearms. they aren't extremely deep, or long. the stab wounds look somewhat similar to the one on the neck.

there are some healed bite wounds near the elbows on the forearms, too.]

[Wow these sexy elbow bites???]

[Okay, no, these look pretty bad. Is there nothing in the wounds - any debris? Might as well check the hands, if he was fighting something off.]

[they look like very sexy canine bites, yes.

there isn't any debris in the wounds. the hands are also clean, but maybe douman would like to hold one? a string, manly, large vlaccid hand? we aren't judging.]

[Yes they would! Holding hands with a corpse. :)]

[Okay no, they're just doing this to check under the fingernails of both hands.]

[i didn't ask if they were nicely manicured, but i am going to say they are because clearly vlad is a respectable man.

but there isn't anything under the nails.]

[Okay, time for the abdomen, pelvis, and legs? Anything off at first sight?]

[the abdomen is clear and fine. the pelvis has a [screeching eldritch noise] right in the center. (vlenis?) do not ask me to know vlad's complete anatomy.

in any case, nothing is amiss on the pelvis.

the legs have healed bite wounds on the calves similar to the wounds near the elbows.]

[..............Time to look at the feet. Anything going on with the feet.]

[the feet are normal-looking vlaccid feet. there isn't any marks or wounds on them.]

[Nothing under the toenails???? LOOK I HAVE TO CHECK]

[Anyways, time to grab Vlad by the center of his body and flip him over to check the back!]

[nope, nothing under there!

WOW, WHOA. LOOK AT THAT DELICIOUS CAKE. but no, on vlad's back near the center is a healed impalement wound which matches the one on the front. looks like it went all the way through.

the elbows and the calves still have the bite wounds, and so does the neck, but there isn't anything else on vlad's backside.]
