Rise and shine, little sinners. Did you rest well? Hope you weren't too perturbed by the events of the day before. Things seem to be perfectly normal throughout your morning, but at 12pm, everyone will receive a mass text message to their phone.

Proceed to the conference room.

Whether you agree or disagree, soon you will find yourself physically moving toward the conference room on the bottom floor, filing into the room and taking a seat in one of the vacant chairs. Two metal boxes sit at the end of each table along with a collection of pens and colored notecards. At the head of the room, Greed, Wrath, Despair and Sloth patiently wait as the TV above them displays a message.

Victims: Vlad Masters, Steven A Starphase, Luca Valentino

Once the last participant enters the room, the door will swing closed behind them and lock them inside.

Greed is seated at the end of the table with a series of papers in their hands. Wrath is sitting sideways in a chair, leaning against Despair, feet in Greed's lap, with their phone out, taking selfies. Despair seems to be holding still to allow this. Sloth is dead asleep, head down on the table and snoring. When some of the last few people enter, they startle awake suddenly with a yelp which gets everyone's attention.

"Ahh, I'm up! Wow, it's time already?! You guys have 9 long hours to figure everything out!"

Hello, and welcome to your third trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will have the opportunity to discuss, investigate and theorize about the events of the day before! While mini-investigations were held yesterday, today is the day characters will have time to examine the body of the victim and explore relevant locations.

There will be a mod-tag break between 4pm EST/1pm PST to 5pm EST/2pm PST. While the trial may continue and players can tag each other, mod-led threads such as questions and investigations will be on hold.

Finally, while voting is not mandatory, we do have a voting page should characters wish to vote! Please be sure that your vote is in by the time trial finishes (9pm EST/6pm PST) if you wish to vote.

[it's a little early but I would likest to look upon ming yi's blood boot. bloots. anything obvious on immediate examination. what do these nine eyes of mine see.]

[In looking at the bloots, Molly will notice that they're not unfamiliar from what MY usually wears. Probably because these are, in fact, his normal boots! When he looks, he will find there's a bit of blood on the soles. It's fresh though, so be careful.]

[ Here he comes for bloot check..2! Before going on investigation. He'll do as instructed and take a picture of the bloody soles before he goes to put them back on again.

Any difficulties? Still pinchy? ]

[No, they actually fit perfectly. They slide on smoothly and easily.]

[If she picks up the boots now, and tries to wipe some of the blood away on a small part of the sole with a little corner of her sleeve, does it come off?]

[In review of the feetsies! Sizes that could potentially match MY's shoes are: Childe, Omi, Gojou, Fukuda, and Law, along with Ming Yi obviously. Since Molly is also checking the deadzos, he will find that Vlad could be a reasonably size match, too.]

[one side of the tuba bell is warped a little inward. the neck under the bell is scraped and also somewhat dented, too. hm.

the mouth piece is twisted down against the neck, and one of the valves is broken and loose, jangling when the tuba is moved.]

[ I mentioned it in a thread and no one said whether to do it but while we're waiting for more evidence and body touching, sure, can we conceivably piece together much of the shredded suit? ]

[sure, they can. it takes a bit of jenga-ing, but you can put it together to reveal that it looks like a very shredded version of vlad's suit.

[Hand check! To see both 1) which hands are close in size to his own and 2) which hands are close in size to the kitchen glove. He'll also compare both his hands and the glove with all 3 of the bodies.]

FEET 2: FEET HARDER

[ going off the earlier check from today! can we check the sizes of 1) the hot tub footprints and 2) the chapel footprints again the already existing list? in the latter's case, misa will use her feet to compare, since she got a look at those prints herself. ]
